バシ節全開フルスロットルです。
陣内笛子と『Ｇ戦』の阿久田鉄人の登場シーンがちょっと被りますが。
スラムダンク的な熱い鉄のような硬さ。
勝つ事に貪欲なメンバーに恵まれなかったゴリの苦悩と
大石練の苦悩がダブります。
湘北メンバーが1人、一般的な女社会に紛れると、こうなるのだろうか？
という感じ。
他にも恋愛漫画的な切なさ、酸い甘いが物語の網目の隙間に
上手く織り込まれており、毎度ながら、幾重ものテーマを
同時多発的に扱う巧みな構成力に圧倒されます。
初期のヤンマガ連載作は、その辺がかえって分かりにくさと
取られてしまい読者が付いてこれなかったのでしょうか。

おそらくこれを買おうかという人の８割近くは日本橋ヨヲコの固定客（ファン）だと思いますが、そんな人は十分に期待していい内容だと思います。まずオビからしてすでに

「生き方が雑だな　そのままではいつか自分に殺されるぞ」

ですから。もうこれを見た段階でファンはほぼ購入決定だと思いますが、内容に関しても今までの日本橋マンガ特有のアツさはそのままに、さらにストーリー性と画力がアップして全ての完成度が高まっています。今回はイブニングに連載ということで打ち切りもなさそうですし、そういった部分でも安心して購入できるかと思います。

1巻は登場人物や伏線で終了の感想。
只、今後に期待がもてそうなので星４つです。

今回は、過去の作品とは少々毛色が違いそうな感触。
「個」の生き様を集中して書く漫画家と勝手に思っていたのですが、
この作品は、バレーという団体「スポーツ」を扱います。
「個」の生き様と、チームとしての姿をどうするか？
さて、この後どうなるのか？
読むと、非常に待ち遠しい気持ちになってしまいますよ。
