昨年度の優勝校である桐青を研究しつくして破った西浦だが、
5回戦では、逆に美丞大狭山に研究されてしまい序盤先攻されてします。
三橋のコントロールの良さが返ってあだとなる。
阿部のリードが完全に読まれているのだ。
だが、三橋が勇気を振り絞って
相手がデータ通りに攻撃してこないことを監督と阿部に告げる。
（いいぞ〜　三橋〜　泣かなくていいんだぞ〜）
三橋の進言によって、相手の作戦を逆手に取ってリードする阿部。
それでも力の差なのか、追加点を与えてしまう。

西浦の攻撃は、うまく打ち取られてしまい
良いアタリをしてもナイス守備に阻まれ、大きなチャンスとならない。
そんな中、水谷が絶好調！くすぐり作戦の成功してるのか
『今日のオレは、ナイスバッチ水谷なんだぜ』
（このカットが笑える。三橋とキャラかぶってるー）

また、ヒール役で描かれているコーチの呂加の存在が気になる。
キャッチャーの岳史を使って何か策略しているらしい...
岳史は、試合中何度もスタンドにいる呂加に不安げに視線を送る。
いつ、何をしようとしているのかちょっとドキドキする。

どうする西浦。このままずるずると負けてしまうのか
それとも好調な打線が爆発して逆転するのか
またまた、次号が待ち遠しい！
三橋は阿部のサインに首を振るのか？！

今更レヴューを書くまでもないですが本当に作りこみが緻密で面白い漫画。
漫画っていうのはこんなにも面白いんだ！とおお振りを読んでるといつも感じます。
相変わらずルールがまるでわかっていませんが、
そんな人間が読んでもこんなにも面白いのってすごいと思います。

今回は、脇役の泉そして水谷が輝いていてよかったです。キャラクターひとりひとりの心情と
成長を丁寧に丁寧に描いてくれるひぐち先生の手腕はあいかわらず圧巻・・

そして上手くやっているようでいて、ずっとどこかずれていた、西浦バッテリーの問題。
美丞大狭山の闇と共に、そこにじわじわと迫っていく感じがたまらないです。

アフタヌーンの購読をやめて随分経つのに、単行本は全然進んでない…美丞戦の結果が知りたかったのにぃ!!あーぁ、続きはいつになるんだろう?
確かに、連載であのページ数だし、人気連載だから掲載雑誌の表紙とか巻頭カラーとか細かい仕事も盛り沢山だろうし、単行本用の書き下ろしとか表紙イラストとか目一杯なんだろう……
けど!!!
もうちょっと刊行スピード早くしてくれよ〜(泣)!
でも相変わらずのクオリティの高さは、今なぜか大人気の某野球映画と比べようもないくらいスゴイ。
まぁ、それを維持してもらう為にも、我慢するしかないのか…
阿部じゃないけど、
『そこが わかってると なんとかっ 耐えられるっ』?

早く13巻出してくれ〜!!!
