やさしい言葉で、人の生きる意味、人生とは何かを教えてくれる坂村真民さんの、これまでの「詩集」とはまったく違ったみずみずしい感性で編集された「新しい詩集」だと思います。 生きる意味を模索している若い人たちに、是非読んでもらいたい本です。 必ず、この本の中に、あなたの求める答が、あなたの求めていた言葉が、見つかると思います。

９２歳になる今も、毎日、庭の草花や露草の露に心を通わせ、飛んでいく鳥や昆虫に語りかけて、透きとおった心のなかから生まれ出る言葉を、やさしい言葉で”詩”に置き換えて、私たちに、しっかり生きろよ、そんなに頑張らなくてもいいんだよ、と語りかけてくれる「詩集」です。

坂村真民さんの詩はチョット元気がよすぎて、背筋をスッと伸ばして、真直ぐ前を見つめて、精神的に品行方正な優良児という印象でした。例）『あなたと歩いていると、もろもろのものが 相寄ってくる 山も鳥も 遠い雲までも 近づいてくる 天地一ぱいの 広々とした 豊かな心 になってくる』でもこの詩集は、情けない私や泣きたい私やおバカさんの私をそのまま引き取ってくれます。へええ、という思い。このように編集された『いふ企画の大熊初恵さん』て、きっとすてきな人です。

　坂村真民さんの詩集は何冊かもっていますが，この新書版の詩集は，かばんの中に入れて持ち運んでもよいし，服のポケットにも入れて携行してもよいし，いつでも真民さんの詩と共にありたいという願いを叶えられる点でありがたいです。
　本書の帯広告にあるように「坂村真民の作品から厳選した２００篇」というだけあって，本当にすばらしい詩が集められています。新書ゆえのモノクロであるが，ところどころに心象風景に合致した写真が収められているのもうれしいですね。
　職場の玄関メッセージに，時折，活用させていただこうと考えています。
