無駄が無くしかも的確な文脈。お酒のうまさが伝わり、江戸の町が忙しく動いている様子が良く分かる。
現代を映すには前の時代を用いる戸よりわかりやすくなるのだろうか？古き良き日本の中に、今を生きる自分の姿を見てしまった。

時は元禄。何でも屋のアウトロー町人たちが
土佐の名酒を知恵を絞って江戸で販売するお話。
氏の『損料屋喜八郎始末控え』に比べると
肩の力が抜けており軽快なエンターテイメントに仕上がっている。

江戸の街での知恵比べだった第一作と違い
第二作はロードムービーならぬ土佐への商売行脚の装い。
舞台が田舎に移ってしまうと、町人たちの活躍も
どことなく色褪せて感じてしまうのは私だけであろうか。

4.0 out of 5 stars 土佐へ行きたい！, 2008/6/26
深川黄表紙掛取り帖の第２弾です。一杯の名酒から始まる今回の裏家業でも、
おなじみの４人が活躍してくれます。前作では、連作短編の要素が強くでていましたが、
この作品は、ロード小説のような長編といった感じです。
江戸・大阪・土佐。たくさんの豪気な商人が、今回も気持ちよくふんだんにお金を使ってくれます。
土佐の風土や歴史、そしてそこに住む人々と４人のふれあい。よどみなく語られる文章に
夢中になってしまいました。
土佐弁と江戸弁のかけあいも楽しく、土佐のお酒や名物品、おいしそうな食べ物に、
是非土佐、高知に行ってみたくなりました。
蔵秀と雅乃の関係にも進展があり、続きが気になって仕方ありません。
そして、今回は宗佑にかなりスポットがあたっていて、彼の今後に目が離せません。
星を４つにしたのは、辰次郎の活躍があまりなくて残念だったからです。
別の意味で彼の今後も心配で目が離せません。
はやく、次回作が読みたいです！
