久々の短篇集です。
今回はVシリーズで始まり、今現在続行中のGシリーズで終わる・・と思いきや、最後の最後に仕掛けがありました。
これは全てのシリーズ・短篇集読んだ人がわかる仕掛けでしょう。
さすが森博嗣。ただでは終わらせません。
この極上の森ミステリィを是非味わってください。

いつも通り、オチのない（よく言えば幻想的な）話がいくつかあります。が、それも伏線として読めば、全体で傑作ミステリを構成していると言えます。特に「証明可能な煙突掃除人」はすばらしいです。これは森博嗣にしか書けないでしょう。私はこれだけで満足しました。森博嗣の小説すべてに言えることではありますが、「実際の場面においては問題を探すところが最も難しいのだ」ということが全体を通して表現されていると思います。注意しないと、問題にすら気付かないまま読み終えてしまうかもしれませんので、初心者（！）にはおすすめしません。

久しぶりの短編です。「ラジオの似合う夜」と「刀之津診療所の怪」は面白く読みましたが、森作品を広く読んでいる読者でなければ、何のことか分からないでしょうね。前作を知らなくても面白いとは思いますが、解けない謎が残り、ちょっとフラストレーションが溜まります。 5編のショートショートは、私にはちょっと・・・。面白さが分かりません。どうもこの手の作品は苦手です。
