　松本侑子さんの長編恋愛小説。主人公遥香の「初恋」と、二人の男性をめぐり揺れ動く心境を17年間に渡り描き、ドラマチック。
　二人の男性にめぐり合う学生時代、「女優」デビュー、再生不良性貧血と闘病生活、自らの天職である女優への復帰…。その時間の流れと心の機微を、渓流から清流へ、やがては海に至る水の流れに重ね合わせ、滔々と描く。
　大胆で奇想天外なストーリの展開は、最近人気の韓ドラを思わせながらも、人生の不条理な出来事の要所要所で遥香が見せる切なく、また勇気のある決断と恋の選択、その心理描写は深く冴え、読み応えがあった。
　各章のタイトルには、テニスンやバーンズといった詩人の引用が使われ、「赤毛のアン」の翻訳で英米文学に造詣の深い作者らしく、お洒落で心憎い。

初恋って、人生の中で１回きり
成就することは、まれで終わりが多いと思います。
逆に、初恋をされる事は１度限りとは限りません

この本は、初恋から生まれる関係を
素敵な言葉で展開し、芸能界を言う
見えそうで見えない

そんな世界を上手く描写できていると思います。

出来れば、１０代の方に読んで頂きたい
初恋の大切さを感じるはずです

二人の男性に愛され、波乱万丈な人生を送る主人公。
女優、難病、妊娠、中絶、不倫、愛し合う二人の間にはさまざまな障害が現れては消え、また現れる。そのストーリー展開はまさに今流行の韓流ドラマです。
文学としてというより、読み物として、主婦層に受け入れられやすい内容だと思います。それにしても、こんな美貌に生まれてみたい、と思うほどの、非の打ち所のない主人公でした。
