家事が大好きで、家でコトコトシチューを煮ているのが幸せ、という
人には向かない本です。
「なぜ、私ばかりこんなに苦労しているんだろう？」とか
「なぜ、私だけが家の仕事しなくちゃならないんだろう？」とか
食器洗い機ってどうなの？　掃除機ってどうよ？
お鍋で何か変わるの？　と思っている人は必読です。

著者は働いて、結婚していて、子持ち。

だんなさんが、ごみを捨ててくれると、近所の人が
「優しいだんなさんでいいわねー」という。
でも、同じこと私は毎日やっているのに、なぜ何も
言ってくれないの？って思うんだそうな。

あ、そんなこと　考えもしなかった。

私の母は主婦だったので、えーっとびっくりするところも
本の中に多々ありますが、勉強になるところもたくさん。
特に、食洗機や洗剤に関するところ。
また、ページも見開きで片方が文章、片方が漫画
（お世辞にも上手とはいえない絵ですが）で
読みやすい。
また、気負ったバリバリのエコやフェミではなくて、
「○○がだめ！○○があぶない！」ではなく、
「○○が心地いい、○○がラクチン」という視点で
書かれているので、読んでいる方も心が楽です。

家事をしている人、していない人、
春から家事を始める人。
是非読んでみてください。

朝日新聞に連載されている時から、愛読していました。
私が、この本を読み実践したことの中から★★★★★に値するものをご紹介します。
【食洗機導入】　　　　　　夫婦げんかが激減しました。
【洗濯ものは畳まない】　発想の転換でこんなに気が楽になるんだ~~と実感。

【レジ袋持参】　　　　　　籠の中身を袋に移しかえる・・・その手間を省くだけでこんなに便利だとは思わなかったです。
【重曹で掃除】　　　　　　油＋埃の汚れには絶大な威力。実践しないとパワーを実感できません。
【コードレスクリーナー】　TV横を置き場にしたら、旦那が気軽に掃除機をかけるようになった！！

【無洗米】　　　　　　　　味がいまいちという先入観があったのだけど、問題なし。一度使ったら手放せない。
上記以外にもやってみて「なるほど」と思うことはたくさんありました。
読んで、気に入ったことからちょっとずつご自分の生活に取り入れて行くのがお勧めです。

筆者はエコ・節約！というだけの家事ではなく、いかに効率よくできるか。にこだわった提案をしています。そして女性向けの家事本の多い中、男性にもお薦めの本です。家の事（コト）というからには家族みんなで家事を考えるよい本だと思います。大掃除の前にいかがでしょうか。
