The 8th season,not as good as the earlier seasons, but still entertaining. Not looking forward to the 10th season because Allison Mack will no longer be a regular. The shows producers are optimistic about getting her on for season 10. Laura Vandervoort(Supergirl) is now in the remake of the 1980's V (Visitors) worth buying when it comes to DVD. Lots of cast change... but still interesting. I thought the 7th season was the weakest...I'm wrong the 9th is...10th season may be the last season....because of all the changes., everything now takes place in Metropolis and not in Smallville.
As a collector of DVDs, it is great that they are finally being released in Japan. I have 40 disc 7 season collection and it is a great set...I imported. I have no doubt that set will soon be released in Japan too. After all it's also been released in the UK.
Japanese sets are often overpriced. A similar set is available in the UK, I'd buy it from the UK...if you have good english ability. Other wise, if you are really a fan may be worth buying. The UK set does not come with the extra DVD movies... So may be the extras DVDs are not really extras...and you are paying for it in this set as well.
