Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment

Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment allows you to pay for an order at selected convenience stores and ATMs or via an online banking account or e-Money. Being a prepayment option, your order is only shipped once payment is received.

Payment Overview

  1. Place Your Order
    Select “Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment” from the payment options screen or order summary screen and place your order.

  2. Receive an Order Confirmation e-mail
    After you’ve submitted your order, we’ll send you an order confirmation e-mail.

  3. Receive Your Pay ID Issued E-mail
    Once your order has been secured, you’ll be sent a Pay ID Issued e-mail (Pay ID Issued e-mails are not the same as Order Confirmation e-mails and are sent separately). Click on the first link in your Pay ID Issued e-mail (under where it says “お支払い方法について” (How to Pay)) to be taken to a payment options page. There, select a convenience store, ATM, Internet banking service, or e-Money to make your payment.

    *If an item you ordered is currently out of stock or otherwise unavailable, it may take longer than usual for us to issue your Pay ID. If you find that your Pay ID is taking longer than expected to arrive, please wait until the final date shown in the estimated delivery date information displayed on the order summary screen. For orders fulfilled by Amazon Marketplace sellers, you’ll be issued your Pay ID 30 minutes after placing your order, regardless of item availability. For more information, click here.

  4. Payment
    Make a note of your Pay ID and pay for your order within the required payment window via the method you selected during Step 2.

    The payment window is six days starting from and including the day you receive your Pay ID. Once this payment window expires, your Pay ID will no longer be valid and you order is automatically cancelled, so please make sure to pay within the required time.

    In cases where payments are repeatedly not paid within the specific payment window, Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment may no longer be selectable during checkout and, in extreme cases, the customer’s account may be terminated.

  5. Shipping and Delivery
    After your Pay ID Issued e-mail has been sent, your order is entered is shipped and then finally delivered to your chosen delivery address.

    Orders are delivered by Standard Shipping only. It usually takes one to four days for an order to be delivered. Please note that Expedited Shipping is not available for orders paid using Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment.

Note

  • Refund amount for orders paid using Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment is issued as Amazon Gift Certificates or refunded to your bank account.
  • Your order cannot be modified, nor be canceled directly by you, once the order’s Pay ID has been assigned. To cancel an order after its Pay ID has already been issued, you’ll need to make a cancellation request. Alternatively, as orders not paid for by the date indicated in their Pay ID are automatically canceled, it’s also possible to simply not pay for an order and wait for it to be canceled by the system. Any changes you had wanted to make to your old order can then be applied when placing your new order.
  • Even if you indicate in your order that you want an item delivered on the same day as its official release, we are unable to guarantee the item will in fact arrive on that date if you are paying using Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment.
  • Payment using payment slips or payment vouchers are not accepted. Please pay at a convenience store or ATM, or via Internet banking or e-Money.
  • Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment is only available for orders totaling no more than 300,000 yen. As the maximum charge limit is 50,000 yen for an Edy payment, and 20,000 yen for an Suica payment, payments more than these amount should be paid at a convenience store or ATM, or through an online banking account instead. Also note that when paying at an ATM or through an online banking account, the maximum payment amount allowed may vary with each financial institution.
  • If you choose “I want my items faster. Ship them as soon as they become available.” and your order is divided into multiple shipments, each shipment is assigned its own separate Pay ID.
  • When an order is divided into multiple shipments with a different Pay ID assigned to each of those shipments, failing to make any of the Pay ID payments within their specific payment window will result in the cancelation of all shipments for that entire order.
  • Convenience store / ATM / Internet banking / e-Money payment is not available for Amazon Subscribe & Save orders.
