Refunds

We can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from Amazon.co.jp. Please see our Returns Policy for a description of which returns we can and cannot accept.

Please do not send us items that do not meet the conditions listed in our Returns Policy, as we do not issue refunds for no qualifying items.

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. Orders paid for by credit card will be refunded to the credit card; orders paid for by COD and Convenience Store / ATM / Internet Banking / e-Money payment will in principle be refunded via Amazon.co.jp gift certificate. Orders paid for by Amazon points will be refunded to your Amazon points account. Note that any Amazon points you earn with the item you are returning will be deducted from your Amazon points account.

About Amazon Points adjusted:

If you earned points on the item you returned, those points will be deducted from your Points balance. If you do not have enough Points in your Points balance, this amount of lacking Points will be deducted from the refund amount.

About Gift Returns:

In case you returned an item which was sent as a gift to you, and in case the gift giver earned Amazon Points when purchasing that product :the Amazon points amount will be deducted from your refund amount. Note that, even if you returned a gift sent by someone else, we will never let know the gift giver that you returned the item.

If your return is not due to our error, we will not refund return shipping costs. If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund will be credited to your account, available to use the next time you place an order at Amazon.co.jp.

Should you return an order that was placed using a promotional certificate, you will not be refunded the amount of the certificate, as these discounts were deducted from the original purchase amount. Any unexpired promotional funds used on the order would, however, be returned to your account for use toward future purchases.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, you'll receive a gift certificate for the value of your return, which can be used at any time toward your purchases at Amazon.co.jp. The gift certificate will be mailed to you at the same address to which the order was shipped. (Don't worry--we won't let the gift giver know about your return.)

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, we will send a refund to the purchaser, and he or she will find out about your return. To determine whether your item was marked as a gift, check the packing slip that came with your gift shipment. If it shows prices, your item wasn't marked as a gift.

Amazon.co.jp does not pay interest on returned funds.
