5.0 out of 5 stars まさかのＤＶＤ化！！, 2006/2/11
いやあ、驚きました。未来永劫に渡って国内発売は不可能と
思っていただけに。ただ、アングラ界ではビデオが出回って
いたので、観てる人は観てる作品ではあります（映像もそんなに
悪くはなかった）。あと右○系の会合でも上映されてましたね。
まあ、そんな状況下でしか観れなかったので、正直かなり驚い
ておりますが、伝説でなくなってしまうのもちょっと淋しいかも。
でも切腹のシーンは、その後実際に切腹をした彼の行動と合わせて
みると、背筋が凍りつき考えさせられます。「ＭＩＳＨＩＭＡ」も
そろそろ国内版が出たりして・・・？

この映画を見られるとは思わなかった。三島由紀夫の研究は、夫人の独断と偏見によりずいぶん遅れたと考えている。三島の作品世界を様式的にとらえ、伝説の1970・11・25をドキュメンタリータッチに描いた映画『MISHIMA』もいまだ公開されず、少しでもホモセクシャルをにおわせる論文も次々公開禁止となった。夫人が亡くなった今、もっと研究が進んでいい。その意味で今回、三島の息子さんをはじめ遺族・関係者の方々の英断に感謝したい。

　帽子を目深に被って表情と感情表現を抑えた三島の演技は、テーマである「至誠」を見事に表しており、モチーフである能の極意が「忘我」であるならばそれをもあますところなく私達に伝えてくれております（機械的である演技のぎこちなささえ様式美を感じさせる）。またどうしても三島の演技に目が行きがちですが、本来の「シテ」である鶴岡嬢の演技・感情表現も見事としか言いようがありません。惜しむらくは作品の尺の短さに対してカット数が１６０に上る多さで少々せわしなさを感じるところ。能がモチーフならばロングと長回しがもう少し欲しかった。特典のスタッフ座談会は周知のエピソードばかりで物足りなさを感じる。特筆すべきは、三島ファンなら一度は訪れたことのある「山中湖文学の森・三島由紀夫記念館」の館内上映フィルムが収録されている事。この作品は極力政治色を抑えながらも三島の作品世界を魅力的に解説している秀作。なお同日発売の新潮社版三島由紀夫全集別巻のＤＶＤとは作品内容は全く同じです。
