もうまさに神々のシンフォニーです。

サラ・ブライトマンとポール・スタンリーとアンデラ・ボッチェリと・・・ああもう神々！！

１曲目はこれまたびっくり重たいドラムサウンドとギターから始まると。
そこにサラの神の歌声が乗っかって・・・てこれはジャンルで言えばシンフォニックメタルじゃないんですか？



いや、そんなことは気にしないんです。そんくらい良いんです。一聴の価値あり。いや、絶対に聴くべき。

なんですか！？このジャケットは、、、ゴシックメタルみたいじゃないですか！
まあ、昨今のゴシックメタル自体、ヒーリングミュージック色が強くなっているような気もします。

それにしても、彼女の声は美しい。彼女の歌声を聴くと一瞬だけ天国が垣間見えます。
それはとても高い波長から奏でられる女神の(母性の)歌声。天国から来た声。

神の声を授かった彼女の最新アルバム、、、本屋で試聴しました。
彼女のアルバムを何枚か持っていますが、アルバムに大した変化があるわけでもありませんが、
しかしとても美しく、クオリティーは保障されているでしょう。
(しかし、綺麗で美しすぎると、飽きが早いというのもあるかもしれません、、、)

「ゴシック」にしては「陰鬱な暗さ」が足らないような気がいたしますが(ジャケはゴシックですが)、
この「ゴシック」は「中世ヨーロッパのゴシック建築、ルネッサンス絵画」等の荘厳な美しさなのでしょう。

ヒーリングミュージックが好きな方、中世ヨーロッパの雰囲気が好きな方、幻想的なファンタジーが好きな方等なら聴いて損はないのかもしれません。

坂本龍一氏の戦場のメーリークリスマスがこうなるとは。いい感じです。
他に馴染みのある曲は、映画「パールハーバー」の主題歌だったフェイス・ヒルのThere You'll Beがデュエット曲として収録されています。
その他にも、今回はデュエット曲が数曲あります。
今作は彼女のファンなら確実に満足できる仕上がりです。
