   1983年TBS系の金曜ドラマ枠で放映され、人気を呼んだ名作ドラマ『ふぞろいの林檎たち』の第2シリーズ（85年放送）。主人公たちは、大学や専門学校を卒業して実社会へ出て、様々な悩みを抱えながらも成長してゆく。脚本は前シリーズに続き、山田太一。サザンオールスターズの楽曲も前シリーズ同様、印象的に使われている。
   仲手川（中井貴一）は運送会社で、しつこい上司にうんざりする日々。岩田（時任三郎と西寺実（柳沢慎吾）は同じ会社に勤めるが、腕のいい営業マンとなった岩田は、上場の会社に引き抜かれていく。看護婦の仕事に喜びが見出せない晴枝（石原真理子）は、ホステスに転身、仲手川との仲も進展していく。岩田と長く付き合ってきた陽子（手塚理美）は、互いに結婚に踏み切れずにいる。前シーズンの大学生モラトリアム時代を経て、社会に出た“林檎たち”は、また新しい人間関係の中で必死にもがいていく。会社での上下関係、親の死、転職、恋愛。社会にでて、人生を歩みだした彼らの不安な心模様を見事に描いていく。（茂木直美）

学生時代は、同じ年齢で同質の人たちに囲まれて暮らしていたのが、社会に出た途端、まったく異質な人たち、年齢も考え方もお金の稼ぎ方も思想も違った人たちと接することになります。そうやって「大人の世界」が見えてくるのでしょう。大学のキャンパスにいる頃はイッパシのつもりが、会社にはいればひよっこです。このドラマを改めて見て、そういった社会に出たときに被った波の塩味を感じさせられました。そんなことを意識させるセリフが多く使われているように思いました。一人の男を巡って、知り合いの女性がもめるといったこともよくありますが、広くなった世界と狭くなった世界があったのだな、などという感想を持ちました。山田太一さんの脚本は、いかにもありそうな物語を描いていて、誰もがその物語のどこかに繋がりを持てるように思います。
