断定的で毒づくような（わたしにはそう受けとめられる）言い回しなどで長いこと敬遠していました。だって怖いんだもん。でもでもこの本はありがたいです。仏壇やお墓参りの作法がきちんと書かれている。このようなこと相談したくてもできないあなたにお薦めです。

誰かに対する感謝の気持ちを持つということは大切なことだし、それを否定するつもりはない。だが強制できるものでもないだろう。この本で問題なのは、感謝の気持ちを持つことと、それを封建的な価値観へと結びつけるプロセスが、オカルトを用いてほとんど脅迫のようなかたちで（祀らなければ不幸になるなど）行われていることだ。この本で幸せになる人もいるだろう。そのことは尊重しなければならない。しかし、もしこれを一冊の本として読むならば、問題も欺瞞も多分に孕んでいると言わねばならない。考えることに倦んで、このような本が売れる風潮を危惧する。

最近のTV番組ですっかり細木トークにのめり込むようになってしまった私と実母。でも本当に素直な心で聞いていると、当たり前のことを言っている様にも思えます。こういうタイトルの本は「どれが本物なの？」とつい疑ってしまいますが、私のように何も知らない人でも読めるので興味のある方はどうぞ。ただ、実行するかしないかは本人次第。異なる見解の書籍にも目を通せば、おのずと自分の思うべきところが見えてくるのでは・・・
ただ、この本を読むことで「ご先祖様への感謝の気持ち」が再確認でき、心が洗われたような気持ちになったことだけは確かです。
