素組みレビューです。厳密には同じMSではないですが、1/100との比較ありです。

○特徴
・小さい部品が非常に多いが、パーツ精度は極めて高いので組み立て易い。
おかげでMGの中でも凄まじいディテールを誇る
ポリパーツが青色で、いわゆるグレーパーツが黒鉄色（HGνガンダムの
ような感じ）。ABSパーツは近年にしては少なめ。
・組み立て方がかなり変わっている。特にヒザ間接周りはフレームを組んだ後、
芯となるポリパーツを組み込むという変り種
・1/100に比べると身長は若干低い（5ミリ位？）。全体的にボリューム減少
しているが、タクティカルアームズ（以下TA）のみ長くなっている。
・可動範囲は大幅に拡大。特に足首にはHGダブルオー並みの可動が追加
・本体部分に多数のアンダーゲートあり。おかげでゲート跡は皆無だが
処理しにくい場所にも多々あり。
・TAに各武器を分離形態「ソードアーム」「ガトリングアーム」追加
・TA用のベースは1/144用のものに新規パーツ（アームが長くなった）
を追加したもの

全体的に非常にレベルの高いキットです。組み立てに少々癖がありますが、
パーツの合いが良いので私は気になりませんでした。とにかくディテールが
凄まじく、スミ入れなしでもかなりの完成度です。

個人的に、新装備形態はGoodでした。TAを背中に装備すると
前が寂しいですし、武装展開すると背中が寂しくなる。両手ソード、
背中ガトリングだと非常にバランスがいいです。

一応TAを装備しても自立しますが、少し怪しいのでベースを使用したほうが無難です。
何より、広い可動範囲を生かしてポーズをつける事が出来るのでお薦めです。
ランナーを見る限り、ザクVer2.0のようにパーツ切り替えが既に考慮されている
ようなので、今後の展開が楽しみです。

5.0 out of 5 stars 現時点で最高可動範囲のアストレイ, 2009/11/22
アストレイはHGから1/100に至るまでデザインの妙で凄まじい可動範囲を誇っていたのですが
PGでは、凝りすぎて足首の可動範囲が狭くなっていました。

今回はその点を反省したのか、足首の可動範囲が向上しています。
HG、1/100のように足首のポールジョイントが長い事による可動領域の確保ではなく
足首の関節が2段階になっているのが大きい。

お陰でPGではイマイチ決まらなかった大股を開いてのポーズが可能です。
この足首の可動範囲の広さは、コミック担当の「ときた光一先生」も感動していましたね。

今回はＴＡのソードフォーム用にスタンドも付属しているので、1/100よりポーズの自由度が
増しています。
ソードアームで飾れば、スタンドが必要なければ実質余剰パーツゼロって点が個人的にお気に入り
でもあります。

今回、やたらアンダーゲートが多かったのは後々のゴールドフレームへの布石なのは
間違いないでしょうね。

とてもいい商品です
全体的にみると細身てマッチョでとてもいいスタイルをしています
タクティカルアームズ用の補助台座がついているのでセカンドLでの問題点は解消されていると思います ポリパーツが青色なのもGoodです
