聖子さんの３０年近くに及ぶボーカリストとしての軌跡が、もっとも分かり易く、タイトにまとめられた思わぬ好盤。何よりも、この企画に参加したスタッフ達の創意工夫が感じられ、聞き終わった後に、ほのぼのとした温かさが心に残ります。

個人的にとてもうれしかったのが、金色のリボンに収められていた珠玉の名曲達、”ジングルベルも聞こえない”、”恋人がサンタクロース”などが、聴く側がハッと息をのむ様なクリアで明るい音質にリマスターされている事で、１０万円ボックスの少々、消化不良の様な曖昧なリマスターに首を傾げていた者としては、大収穫でした。また、この盤がクリスマスソング集でありながら、聖子さんの声の変遷を無理なく楽しむことができて、曲順も聴く側に違和感を持たせぬ様、工夫されているので、最初から最後までとてもスムースに、滞りなく聴く事ができます。

ただ、３０年近く歌い続けてきた聖子さんの今のボーカルは、少しゆるく重た気で、かつての天性のリズム感や軽みを感じる事ができず、もどろっこしく感じました。言葉の終わりを大きなビブラードで引き延ばして歌う歌唱法は、とても演歌的で、どうしてこういったテクニックを身につけたのか疑問に感じました。

海外の宗教色濃いクリスマスアルバムとは、全く毛色の異なった、松田聖子にしか創れない素晴らしいこのクリスマスソング集に、真冬の静かな夜にそっと灯されたロウソクの小さく揺らめく温かな灯火と、星々のやさしい煌めきを見つけることと思います。

金色のリボン、snow garden、christmas treeと続く今回のベストクリスマスアルバム。もちろん30年来ずっと聴いてきた。そして、当然、全曲、名曲なので、解説は、いらないとし。まだ10代の頃、初めて過ごす恋人とのドキドキな夜も、ひとりぼっちのblue christmasな夜も…そして大人になり、彼女を、助手席に乗せて、ドッキドッキな夜も…いつも、松田聖子のクリスマスソングが、あり、それ以来クリスマスは、一年で一番好きな時になった。クリスマスは、誰でも無垢な子供に戻る。おじさんになった人も、おばさんになった人も、これから松田聖子を知る事にもなる若い人たちにも。クリスマスの特別な夜も、特別な一枚になる。1人のアーティストで、丸ごとクリスマスアルバムを、作れる、アーティストは、そういない。真のスーパースターだけなのだ。海外は、もちろん、国内では、別格。アーティストにとって、クリスマスソング一曲でも、特別なもので、どのアーティストも力を入れている。屈折した時代に、透き通った冬の歌声、天使の贈り物。クリスマスぐらいは、争い事もないようにと、天使の歌声から、聴こえてくる。パーティーのような大騒ぎというよりは、静かに、たまには後ろを振りかえり、歩いてきた道に間違いは、なかったか、今、幸せか、友は元気にしてるか、あの時、幸せを、くれた彼女は、幸せになってくれてるか、母がくれた愛に感謝しながら、1人で聴くのもいい。そして聖子さんの存在が、みんなの幸せにもなるのですから。happy merry X'mas☆thank you seiko☆2009☆

1991年’冬’クリスマスアルバム〜ChristmasTree〜の中からの聖子ちゃんの初だし写真(ジャケット)だと思いますがアートワークが良い!(初回盤)20年近く前の背景や自分を思いだしました【松田聖子=青春=思い出】を買ったような気持ちです!やっぱりアートワークや帯−ジャケットは大切である!よ、収録内容は定番だが松田聖子のクリスマスソングは「ChristmasTree」だと個人的には思います。でもカヴァーなんだよね・・・
