UVERworldは本来はロックでキャッチーな曲を作るバンドなんですが、バラード調の曲も少ないながら中々良い曲が多いです。
代表的なのは君の好きな歌などがそうですが、今回はさほどスローではなく中間のミドルテンポのバラードという事でそういう意味だと新境地でもありますね。
インパクトがない、薄い曲という印象もありますが聞きやすく、耳に馴染みやすい心地よさがありまさにバンドとしての新たな引き出しができた様に思いますね。

カップリングは打って変わったハードな曲です。
こっちはUVERworldサウンド炸裂な感じでとても良かったです!

このシングル全体の完成度高さ!


カップリングの
「撃破」は久しぶりの
UVERって感じで
いいです!
正直シングルのA面として出してもいいくらい

表題曲の「哀しみはきっと」は今までにはない感じの曲だと思った。ドラマを意識して作ったのが原因かわからないがファンにとったら少し物足りないかもしれないが歌詞やメロディーはUVERworldの感じが出ていて良かった。

「撃破」はコーラスがだんだん頭で無限ループしてしまう破壊力があった。もう少し長く作ったらシングルレベルだと思った。

「哀しみはきっと」と対称的な「撃破」、前作「GO-ON」が良かった分、少し浮いてしまったが実際良かった。次回作はベストという噂もあるが新録曲に期待大!
