「素晴らしい」「素晴らしい」と桜井さんがライブで連呼したように、
本当に素晴らしいライブでした。
そして何より、ミスチルライブのなかでも、
これほどあたたかなライブはないのではないかと。

どの曲を聴いても、
そこに希望の光が灯っていて、
日常に流されてしまいがちな私たちに、
希望の光をそっと灯してくれる。

嫌なことがあったり、悩んだり苦しんだり、
とても息苦しい日常で、
嫌なニュースばかりの世の中だとしても、
きっとそこには希望があり夢があり救いがある。
そんなことを感じたライブでした。

ぜひライブの感動をこのDVDで何度も何度も味わいたいです！

これだけのリスナーからニーズがあります。
過去のDVDライブ作品のクオリティーの高さも定評があり、
Mr.Childrenの魅力を余す事なく！という想いが伝わるのは
精鋭スタッフの方々のおかげだな。といつも感銘を受けています。（本当です！）

来年、再来年には、HD品質が当たり前となる今、
これぞ本物！というBlu-rayライブ作品の最高品質レベルを是非！

…って書いても伝わらないでしょうが。。

Mr.Children Tour 2009 〜終末のコンフィデンスソングス〜＠武道館。
開演前の場内の映像が映し出される。女の人たちがまるで、好きな人を
待ってるときのように、満面の笑みでちょっとづつ映しだされていく。ライブ
が楽しみで仕方ないのがいやがおうにも伝わってくる。チクショー、行けば
よかったって思っちゃったじゃねーか。

彼ら観客だけでなく、武道館を「父親のよう」と評する桜井和寿もここでやる
ことに特別な思いがあるらしく、いつもどおり、いやいつも以上に笑顔満開だ。
バカデカくはない会場なので、客席との距離感もなく、MCトークがふんだん
に盛り込まれた今作ではお客さんとの掛け合いもほほえましい。桜井さんが
煽るようなことを叫べば大いに沸くし、ジェンが下ネタを飛ばせばちゃんとすか
す。つかず離れずのいい関係性だ。

それにしても、40になろうというのに客席から「かわいいーー♪」だなんて。
この「ロックスター」をおいて他にはいないだろうな。

ライブのセットは、前々回のHOMEアリーナツアーを髣髴とさせる、バンドを
観客が囲むというアットホームなスタイル。カメラの基本トーンも、心なしか暖
色系だ。これだけ長いキャリアならどうしても取りこぼしたあの曲この曲とい
うようになりそうだが、今回は新旧バランスよくいろいろな年代の曲が織り交
ぜられていて、ライブならではのアレンジはいつもに比べ少ないが、不思議と
飽きることはない。

Disc2には舞台監督ハチさんによる、舞台裏案内を収録。このイリュージョンは、
影でこんなにも多くの魔法使いに支えられてたんですか。
できれば８帖の部屋で見てください。桜井さんが、８帖の部屋のあなた
に向かって歌ってくれます（なんのこっちゃ）。
