Liveは直接体験してこそ意味がありDVDで観るのはある意味邪道な行為であるのは確かですが、１つの商品としてリリースするに当たってこの仕様は如何な物か?。
このDVDには代々木で演奏された「CHANCE!」「GROOVY GROOVY GROOVY」「〜流れ・空虚・THIS WORD〜」「over the stoic」「恋いしくて」「Beat Box」「D-tecnoLife」「Roots」「just Melody」が未収録。
YOKOHAMA BLITZでの公演(こちらも未収録曲多数)を同時収録する位なら、一方だけで良いので完全な形で収録して頂きたかったと言うのが本音です。

収録音声も今時5.1chではなくステレオ音声のみ。
どうにもUVERはLiveDVDにそれほど拘りが無い様です。

もしかしたらメンバー自身が、商品としての質を意識し過ぎる余りLive自体の勢いが無くなったり映像収録様のクレーンやカメラマンが視界に入るなどしてお客さんをガッカリさせるのが嫌でこういった作りにしているのかもしれません。

しかしながらUVERの素晴らしく魅力的なLiveを自宅で何度も楽しみたいと思うのがファン心理という物で、地方在住でなかなかLiveに行けなかったり金銭的に余裕の無い方も大勢居るわけですから、もう少し考えて映像化して頂きたいと思います。

代々木で行われたLIVEと、ブリッツのライブハウスでのLIVEをDVD化したのが、これ、AwakEVE TOUR 09である。
UVERは日々、進化を続け、革命と進化を繰り広げてきた。
そんな彼らの姿を再び目に見られるのは、このDVDだ。
あの日の夢の日を再び、味わいたい者、代々木での彼らの姿を見られなくて、見てみたい者
ぜひ見てみてください。

武道館の時よりもさらに進化したUVERworldが見られます。


今回は今まで以上にとても楽しんでライブをしているのがメンバーの表情から伺えます。
それでいて一つ一つの曲に気持ちを込めてファンの人に伝えようとしているのもひしひしと伝わってきました。

そして
特にオススメするのがラストの会場が一つになるシーンです。
私は大阪城ホールに参戦しましたが、その時を思わず思い出してしまうくらい印象深いシーンとなっていて絶対に感動します。

あと横浜BLITZのライブも収録されていて久しぶりにTimelessの曲を歌っているシーンもあるので
そちらも必見です。

今回のDVDも十分満足できる出来になっているので買って損はしないと思います。
