作品の評価は☆５つです。
以下、国内盤と輸入版盤の違い等を記載します。

さて、輸入盤から大きく遅れて国内盤が発売されました。
当初、2009年9月23日の発売とアナウンスされていましたが、
約1ヶ月遅れの10月21日の発売です。

これはあくまで憶測ですが、サンプル盤についてきた
プレスリリースを読むと、当初『...Until The Freeze』のダウンロードサイトは
輸入盤と同じ、バンドの公式サイトを予定していた様子が伺えますが、
実際には国内盤専用のサイトが用意されています。
専用サイトの構築に1ヶ月かけたということでしょうか？

国内盤と輸入盤の一番の違いは『...Until The Freeze』のダウンロードサイトです。
輸入盤ではＭＰ３のほかに音質の良いflac形式が選択できますが
国内盤ではＭＰ３のみ。。。

ちなみに輸入盤についてくるダウンロードコードを記載したカードは
カラーでしっかりデザインされたものですが、
国内盤の方はモノクロ印刷の紙っぺら。。。

デザインついでに、ＣＤそのものですが、輸入盤は「え？レコード？」と
びっくりしてしまうような、記録層まで真っ黒でレーベル面には溝まで
彫ってあるデザインですが、国内盤は普通のＣＤにレコード風の印刷がしてあるだけ。。

そして、頼みの綱のライナーノーツですがひどい書き飛ばし。。
　・　『...Until The Freeze』の方は聴いていない。。。
　・　エディ・ハーシュはアモリカからの加入と記載。。。
　・　ジミー・ペイジとのツアーではクロウズの曲は演奏しなかったと記載。。。
　・　ウォーペイントでルーサー・ディッキンソンが１曲参加と記載。。。

対訳が付くのは国内盤のいいところでしょうか。

輸入盤より高い国内盤を一ヶ月も待って購入しましたが、
「Until The Freeze」がMP3のみの配信でがっかりです。
これから買われる方には輸入盤をお勧めします。

　いやはや、7年ぶりの復活作だった前作「Warpaint」は単なるウォーミングアップだったのかねぇ?わずか1年ちょっとで届けられた実質2枚組の今作の、この充実ぶりはどうだろう。素晴らしかったデビュー1・2作目を彷彿とさせる、「キレ」も「コク」も備えた王道のロックンロールがズラリ。堪らんねぇ！

　リヴォン・ヘルム所有のスタジオに、少数のファンを招いてのスタジオ・ライブというやり方が、リラックスした雰囲気と、適度な緊張感をもたらしたのか、醸し出すグルーブの濃密なこと！　いつも通り、聴かなくたって、レビューが書けそうな（笑）、新機軸など何もない、むしろどこかで聴いたことのあるような曲ばかりなんだが、これって、それこそストーンズ・フェイシス・ZEPにフィートやザ・バンドといった、先達の遺産を自らの血肉に完全に消化・昇華させてこそ初めて出せる“味”なんだよね。黒カラスもデビュー20周年、ベテランらしい余裕と貫録の押し引きを見せたかと思うと、まだまだ若いと言わんばかりの、血気盛んな部分も見せつける絶妙のバンドアンサンブル。ほんとに今、絶好調なんだね。

　前作ではゲスト扱いっぽかった、NMAのL・ディキンソンとリッチのツインギターも、今作ではすかっりこなれてきており、バンドの一体感がグッと増した感じだね。鉄壁なリズムセクションに弾ける鍵盤が腰に来るグルーブを紡ぎ、唸るツインリードに、ソウルフルで艶を増したクリスのボーカルが乗っかる様は、問答無用のカッコよさ！もはや彼らがヒット曲を連発することもないんだろうけどさ、こういう信頼できるバンドが元気でいることが、ロックファンとしては純粋に嬉しいんだよね。
