第1シリーズはドリカムの中村正人さん。
第2と3はサントラの名手 佐橋俊彦さんが担当されて高いクオリティのBGMに恵まれた救命病棟24時。

第4シリーズはDr.コトー診療所や篤姫等、多くのサントラを手掛けてきた吉俣良さんの音楽です。

救命病棟は新シリーズでも過去作品のサントラを織り交ぜて利用し、特に初寮室や悲しいシーンにおけるBGMは充実していました。

しかし第4シリーズでは何故か過去のサントラは封印され、その為に音楽表現に穴が多いように感じられます。
初寮室で使える音楽なんて5種類以上あったのに、全部使わなくするなんて勿体ない。

しかしながら、流石にサントラのベテランが手掛けただけに、このCDは完成度が高く満足いく仕上がりになっています。
メインテーマなんてかっこよすぎです。
ドラマ中では耳に残らなかった音楽でも、じっくり聴くと情感たっぷりな物が沢山ありますよ。

次のシリーズがあるなら全シリーズのサントラをフル活用して、音楽でも存分に魅了してもらいたいものです。
