前作、ブライガーの復刻盤がレコード音源だった為、かなりの賛否両論を巻き起こしました。
その反省を踏まえてか、今回は音質が向上してます。
(これを機に、高音質版ブライガーを期待してしまいたいのは私だけ?)

ブライガーのオーソドックスだったロックBGMに比べ、三味線や尺八といった和楽器の導入や、
スキャットの多用など、今聞いても魅力の再発見が多く、本編を知らない人にも聞いて欲しいです。

Disc2には、麻上洋子さんのナレーション入りのヴォーカル集が魅力です。
しかし、ナレーションと歌のトラックを分けて収録して欲しかったというのが個人的な感想。
前回の塩沢兼人さんのナレーションは、かれこれ1,2分でしたが、
今回は4分近くあるものもあり、さすがに真面目に聞いていられるのも数回が限度。

少し愚痴も混じってしまいましたが、総合的には、非の打ち所は無いので満足でした。

ブライガーがアレでしたのでどうかと思っていましたが、ハイご安心。いい音ですw
なんだったんでしょうね？ブライガーのアレは…
ディスクユニオンさんには今後もキングのCD復刻を期待しています。

十数年、多くのファンが待ち望んでいた「バクシンガー」音楽集が「ブライガー」に続いて復刻です！！

『無駄に』長年プレミアムがついて流通されていましたが、
ようやくここで多くの方々の耳に触れることができることを嬉しく思います！！

１９８２年、新撰組をSFロボットアニメに換骨奪胎した異作でしたが、
その人物描写には独特の深みと渋みがありました！

音楽は、時代劇風？の演出のためか、
三味線等を使用し不思議な雰囲気も醸し出しつつ、
タイムボカン・シリーズや「燃えよドラゴンズ」で有名な山本和之氏による、
前作・「ブライガー」を継承したロック調も健在。
和風とロックのブレンドの結果として少々泥臭い「浪花節の入ったロック調」です！！

山形ユキオ氏のソウルフルなボーカルも、
前作挿入歌「ABAYO FLY BYE」に引き続き、満を持してOPに登場！
クールな前作とは打って変わって熱い世界観にマッチしており、
ドラマ展開を彷彿とさせます！
勿論、徳丸完氏＝ドン・コンドールのOPナレーションも
「･･･どっちもどっちも！」と被っているのでしょう！

私のようなオールド・ファンは勿論、
所謂「スパロボ」で初めて出会った世代の皆さんも、
「♪泣きたくなった時には」その胸で聴いてくれ！！
