グインサーガEDの「Saga 〜 This is my road」目的で購入しました。
オルゴールver.English ver.も入れて７曲なので実質４曲ではこの値段、少し高いかなと思いましたが、
曲がとても良かったので満足。
さすがカノンさん、声の美しさはもちろん、曲もすばらしいです。
「マリウスの歌」もカノンさんが歌うとまた番組の中でマリウスが歌うのとはイメージが違いました。
自分は特に「Where'er you go 〜 Cavarellia Rusticana」が気に入りました。「カヴァレリア･ルスティカーナ」は個人的に大好きな曲なので歌を入れてもこれだけ美しいのなら大満足。癒されました。

一度、ライブでSaga〜This is my roadを聞きましたが、本当に綺麗な歌声の方です。
万人に受け入れられる声ではないでしょうか。英語詩版も、文句ない出来です。

また、原作ファンにとっては「マリウスの歌」こと「白鳥の歌」が入っているのが嬉しい。
あの薄倖の公子ミアイルを偲ぶ、哀しくも美しい歌です。
　ナタール川に 白鳥が浮かぶ。
　ナタール川に雪がふる。
守り役のユナスにどこがどう気に入ったのかと問われ、「僕も白い鳥になれば、あちこちに自由に飛んで行けるから…」とはにかんだミアイル。
彼は、結局、どこにも行けぬまま、儚くもロルカの手にかかって死にました――。
　
そして、アニメファンにとっては、第23話「如何なる星の下に」のラストで使われたWhere’er you go〜Cavalleria Rusticanaが圧巻です。
軍議を終え、落日の中、ナリスへの絶望的なまでに思いにかられるアムネリス…
草原で、悲しみにくれるリンダとレムスに別れを告げるグイン…
ナリスと、彼の下を出奔したイシュトヴァーン…

彼らの運命の歯車が、大きく回り始める前の底知れぬ静けさのうちに――
独り、ウマを走らせるグインは、東の明星ヤーンの目に向かってつぶやきます。
「俺たちは、如何なる星の下に出会ったのか。如何なる星の下に」と。
これは、グインサーガ全編を貫く、キーワードかもしれません。

カノンのCavalleria Rusticanaは、まさに、このシーンのために作られたかのように、実に素晴らしい歌声なのでした。
