チェロ弾きの女性ボーカルYukkoが際立っています。
声量があって声が気持ちいいです。聞いている人の悩みを吹き飛ばすパワーがあると思います。
アルバムタイトルにもなっている「SPECTACLE」がやはり圧巻です。
チェロがあることで楽曲の音も既存のバンドとは違っていて面白いです。

ライブDVDはYukkoのかわいさと力強さがよくあらわれていて、こちらも見ていて気持ちいいです。
とにかくお薦め！

Yukkoのボーカルはちょっとクセがあって聴く人を選ぶかもしれない。
個人的には、かの香織、岩田アッチュの系譜だと思う。
濃密で繊細な振れ幅をもつこのバンドの音の中でも、決して埋もれない声だ。

楽曲は変則的なリズムやシアトリカル（ちょいQueen風）な展開を覗かせながらドラマティックに広がっていく。
リアルで口にすれば気恥ずかしくなるくらいに前向きでメルヘンチックな詞世界。
そのふたつが相俟って、どこまでもポジティブなイメージを放つ。

壮大な幕開けのバラード「夜明け」、のあのわ真骨頂とも言える組曲風「SPECTACLE」「カエルのうた」、キャッチーなシングル「ループ、ループ」、月影のスローワルツ「グリュー」、疾走するニューロマンティック「星が見える日は」、一編のミュージカルを観るような「ゆめの在りか」。
キラキラしたシンセ／鍵盤による上モノ、跳ね絡むベース、音響系ギターフレーズ、ポストロック的リズム、楽曲の世界観をコーラスが深く押し拡げ、曲展開のアクセントとして奏でられるチェロによって、サウンドはSPECTACLEを体現してみせる。

今風の括りでいえば“音響派うたもの”などと、つまらない言い方もできるかもしれない。
しかし、この個性的な歌声とドラマティックな楽曲のアンサンブルがJポップの枠組みから逸脱しつつ奏でるのは、紛れもなくポップソングの王道そのもの。
このポップミュージックには、変わりばえのない毎日、退屈な日常、誰かの塞いだ心の景色さえも、一瞬の内にガラリと変えてしまうかもしれない、計り知れない可能性を秘めたポジティビティが満ちあふれている。
