85,000円と破格だったので、思わず衝動買いしてしまいました。使用感は非常に良いです。前に使っていたのが漢字Talk7.5の頃なので、かなり久しぶりのMac購入です。Snow Leopardも付いていた（要インストール）ので一安心でした。アクティビティモニタでLeopardと比較するとちゃんと64bit化されるので、インストール作業も楽しかったです。カーネルが32bitのままなのはご愛嬌でしょうか。

他の方のレビューでSnowは付いてるけど要インストールとありましたが、この型番はインストール済のMacBookかと思います。私の持っているのは、最初からSnowでした。 Windowsもインストール出来るところは魅力ですが、Bootcampにすると動作が遅くなるという噂もあり、まだ試してません。Mac OS X単独で使う限りは、システム起動、アプリ起動、システム終了まで、驚きの速さです。初Macでパソコン音痴ですが用語さえ頭に入ってしまえば、とてもストレス少なく使えます。 ただし、Windowsからのデータ移行はパソコン音痴にはちょっと難しく、マニュアル本を別途購入し奮闘中です。

今までwindowsしか使ったことがなく、macには「高い・ソフト少ない」といったネガティブな印象しか持っていなかった自分ですが、最近になって周囲でmacを持つ友人がちらほら出てきたため、自分も便乗してメインPCとして購入してみました。macに関する知識はほぼゼロだったため、使いだしてすぐは、「マウント？ドッグ？タイムマシーン？？」とわからない用語の乱立であせったのですが、使いこなしていくうちにwindoesとはまた別の使いやすさにハマっています。
現在、メインメモリ4GB、HDD250GBに増設し、BootcampにてwinVistaを導入。iworkというwindowsでいうところのofficeソフトも入れてみましたが、どうも使いこなせず、office用としてwindowsを使用しています。
macを数週間使用してみて、デスクトップのデザインや使用感など、windowsに比べて遊び心があるというか、使いやすさを保ちながらも目で楽しめるというような点を大切にしているのがわかりました。
気になっている点は、スライドパッドの２ボタン操作不可⇒bluetoothマウスで対応。アフターサービスにお金が結構かかる⇒まだ故障などはありませんが、Applecareも高いし…。今後検討中です。
