NANO−MUGEN初参戦に向け海外のアーティストも最近は全く聴いていなかったので予習の意味も含めて購入したのだが、想像以上に良い作品群である。特に前半はサウンドの方向性が似ているのかそれぞれの楽曲を連続して聴いていても全く違和感がなかった。途中で逆にこの中にスピッツの『８８２３』が入ってきて大丈夫なのかという不安が沸き上がった。[因みに私は元来スピッツファン(敢えてスピッツブリーダーとは言わないけれど)なので浮いてしまうと悲しいなぁと思ったので･･･]だが､(プロだから当然なのかもしれないが)きちんと構成を考えた曲順のお陰で流れが止まることはなかった。そのままストレイテナーへ繋ぎ、THE YOUNG PUNX!というユニットの『understand』へと至りめっちゃ心地よかった。そしてラストのユニコーンはどこへ行ってもどこまで行ってもユニコーンだった。素晴らしい。

アジカン主催のNANO-MUGEN FES 2009とその前夜祭に参加するすべてのアーティストの
楽曲を収録したアルバム。

とにかくすごい。今年は特にすごすぎる！
メンバ４人がかつてのラジオでお勧めしていた新鋭のアーティストはもちろんのこと、
マニックス、ベン・フォールズ、スピッツ、そしてユニコーンといった大御所までもが
参加し、一枚のアルバムに１７曲ものロックがぎっしり詰まってます。

そしてアジカンの新曲「夜のコール」もこれまた素晴らしい。
メロディはアジカンらしい爽快なポップロックという印象ですが、
今回は詞が特に心にしみます。

あと個人的にはスピッツの「８８２３」がツボでした。
こういう曲も歌ってるって知らなくて改めてスピッツの素晴らしさがわかりました。

このアルバム、ロックファンはもちろんのこと、
これからロックを聴こうとしてる人への足がかりにもなりますし、
普段アジカンしか聴かない人にはきっとツボにはまるアーティストが見つかつことと思います。

お勧めの一枚です。ぜひ！

アジカンの新曲目当てで買いましたが、とても良いですね。

ほとんどは知らないアーティストですがどれも良い曲ばかりですね。選曲もツボです。
アジカン好きだけでなく色々なロックファンに手にとってもらいたいコンピです。
