内容紹介

アルバム「blueno」で、インディーズでは異例のヒットを世に送り出した、ウィスパー系ボーカリスト、frenesi。 作詞、作曲はもちろん、カラフルでキュートなアレンジまで自ら手がける、この才媛の音源は、前作以降、長らくライブでの販売のみとなっており入手困難だった。しかし渋谷の「青い部屋」へのライブ出演をきっかけに、アルバム制作へとついに始動。長い制作期間を経て、2009年6月3日に青い部屋のレーベル、乙女音楽研究社より待望のニューアルバム「キュプラ」をリリース。


アーティストについて

8歳で、ささやき声しか出なくなる。20歳の頃より、大学卒業までの2年間に50曲余りを作曲。 22歳でソロ名義をfrenesiとし、bambini records からミニアルバム「Landmark Theater」、7インチ「au citron」をリリース。 また日本を代表するハモンドオルガン奏者、河合代介氏とblueno名義で、アルバム「blueno」をリリース。インディーズでは異例のヒットとなる。 以後「ささやいていても硬派」な楽曲を多数作曲、多彩なアレンジまで全て自ら手がける。都内を中心にライブ活動を行い、根強いファンを持つ。 坂本龍一氏主宰のミュージックサイト Musictree では、LiveBrain賞、ONKYO賞など、受賞多数。 その類まれなアレンジ能力が高く評価される。

ブルーノ名義での作品で彼女のことを知り、その音楽の才能と知的なセンスに惚れ込み、ずっと新作を待っていた。

そしてついに出た初ソロアルバムがこれ。ジャケやコピーは、あまりに乙女チックというか、ＣＤのジャケというより絵本みたいだが、中身は紛れもなく本物の音楽。かわいさというよりも潔さみたいなのを感じさせるのが、彼女の不思議さで、そこらへんに転がっているポップが世界を救うみたいな安易さとは、一線を画している。ブルーノが一本、ジャズという括りであったのに対して、今作は非常にバラエティには富んでいる。それでも彼女の詩と歌があることで、それはとりとめのないものではなく、一本筋が通っている気がする。唯一、録音に関しては、ちょっとクリアすぎる気もするのだが。ともかく今後も次々と作品を出し続けてくれることを願うのみで、１ｓｔよりも２ｎｄと着実に深さを内面を吐露していきそうなアーティストなのである。
