ゲームとしての面白さも演出も素晴らしいと思います。
三段階の難易度と各地の「魔窟」で初心者から超上級者までをカバーしていて、誰でも楽しむ事ができます。
演出面でも、独特のグラフィックが非常に美しく、背景もジャンプすると奥が見えたりして、かなり作り込まれています。
特に食事シーンは、流石バニラウェアとしか言いようがありません。
各地を回るだけでも、各地に合った音楽と景観を楽しむ事ができます。
また、戦闘に入る際、ＢＧＭが切れずに違和感なく戦闘ＢＧＭに入るのには驚きました。
操作系統も、ヌンチャクでの操作がかなり直感的にできて、すぐに慣れる事ができました。
クリア後要素も多くあり、かなりの難易度のものもあるため、長く遊ぶことができます。

ただ、各地への移動手段が微妙な上、ストーリー中では徒歩でかなりの距離を移動しなければならないため、とにかく素早く目的地に行きたい人には向かないと思います。

高難易度アクションが好きな人やプレイ動画等で独特の画風や演出が気に入った人なら、買って損は無いと思います。

並居る妖怪どもを斬って斬って斬捨てる江戸時代が舞台の横スクロール型爽快アクションRPG。

どこかのんびりした村や街中の“緩”と、緊張感のあるメインストーリーとアクションパートの“急”の使い分けが抜群に上手い。
まだ無双（イージーモード）でしか遊んでいないけど、スバスバと派手な演出で敵を切り伏せていくアクションパートは爽快の一言。
村や街中は、茶屋や飯屋の食い物がよく出来ていて妙に和む。
他にも道端をちょいと覗いてみると豆腐小僧が豆腐を売っていたり、八つぁん熊さんが旅をしていたり、一休さんのお師匠さんが毒（笑）をなめていたりでニヤニヤが止まらない。
そういうところに大喜びする人間がどれだけいるのかは知らないけど、いいんです。私は嬉しいから。

なお、Wiiで主人公が剣を振るうということで「リモコンを振るのか？」と不安視されている方がいるなら安心して欲しい。
普通にボタン操作で遊ぶようになっているし、無茶なボタン操作を要求されることも無い。

イージーモードならアクションゲームが苦手な私でもクリアできたし、誰にでも楽しめるゲームに仕上がっていると思います。
オススメの逸品です。

これは非常に面白い雰囲気抜群の良作ゲームですね
いいところ
グラフィック＝２Ｄ絵の動き、書き込みをセンスよく極限にまで高めています
　　　　　　　ボスの大迫力の絵や雑魚の１つ１つのしぐさまで妥協がないように感じます
　　　　　　　さすがバニラ作品といったところでしょうか
アクション、爽快感＝もう切りまくり、簡単操作でのアクションが楽しいです
　　　　　　　　　　操作感覚はスマブラに近いですね。
　　　　　　　　　　剣が何本もあり、１つ１つ奥義も違うのでどれを持とうか悩みどころ。
　　　　　　　　　　個人的にコンボが稼げる軽い剣が好みかな。
世界観＝書き込まれたグラフィック、キャラクター、雰囲気だしまくりの音楽
　　　　非常にすばらしいと思います。いい音楽と思ったらやはり崎元さんか・・・
悪いところ
戦闘＝気持ちいいが、多少単調になる。
　　　なにかもう少し突っ込めるところがあったと思う
人物の喋り＝何回か話を聞いて、話が変化しないので村パートが微妙
　　　　　　ここも、きっかけで変化があるとか、もう一工夫欲しかったかな
後、メニュー画面が少々わかりづらい気がします

前作オーディンスフィアはアクションゲームとしてはもっちゃりしてて正直
色々不満の残るゲームでしたが、今回はいい形で解消できたと思います
世界を旅していて心地よい、かつ操作して気持ちいい。
wiiを持っているなら是非やってみていただきたい珠玉の１本です。
