shuffleは初購入。
メインはClassic(160G)として、体を動かす用にはこちらでと思い購入。
純正以外のイヤホン（SE530)にて聞いてみましたが、音は価格以上によいと思います。
質感も上々。アップルマークの付いた側を前にするのも綺麗と思います。

しかしこの付属のイヤホンが耳にあわない。すぐずれるので音がいい悪いどころじゃない。
とはいえ各種リモコン機能や今回話題のvoiceOver機能（のほとんど）はこのリモコンじゃないと使えない。なんとかしてほしい・・・。
（バッテリローなどの一部のVoiceはリモコンに関係なく入ります）

純正のイヤホンが耳にあう人なら、☆五個でもいいかもしれない。
VoiceOverが笑える点については今後のVerUPに期待。

なお、余談ですが音楽の転送とVoiceOverのデータの作成・転送は別に処理されます。
VoiceOverをOFFの状態で一度転送したあとに、VoiceOverをONにするとその時点でデータが作成・転送されます。
音楽の転送をWindows機で実施し、VoiceOverデータ作成をMacでやるといった変則的なこともできました。

i-pod shuffle 1GBを使っていました。日頃のトレーニングだけでなく、マラソンのレースの際も愛用していました。ちょうど、少し容量が小さいかもなぁと思い始めた頃でしたので、4GBのこれを早速買いました。
ボディが小さくなったのでしかたないのでしょうが、操作が本体でなくイヤホン側でしなければいけないのは操作性の面で不便に感じました。
曲を飛ばしたり、戻したり、音量の大小も全てイヤホンでの操作となるため
付属のイヤホンでないと使えないのでしょうか？
だとするとイヤホンの出来がいささか「残念」な感じなので困りますね。
電車の中で聴いているだけならよいかもしれませんが
これを携帯して走る場合にはこのイヤホンはちょっと装着感がよろしくなく
改良をリクエストしたいです。
ボディのコンパクトさ、容量のＵＰは評価出来ると思います。
一般ユーザーは止めませんが、市民アスリートの皆さんには「もう少し待った方が・・・」と
いう感じがしました。
容量を大きくしたい・・・ならばお金を足してＮａｎｏでも良いのでは？

小学生の娘にせがまれてshuffle2ndをあげてしまい、classic120GBおよびtouch2nd 16GBとの併用のため購入しました。
購入の決め手は、ALAC対応になったこと、（ALACの場合）完全ではないがギャップレスもどきになったこと。の二点です。本体に操作インターフェースがないことについては、既にApple In-ear Headphones with Remote and Micを使っていたので考慮外でした。
ですから現時点で購入をオススメできるのは、当然初iPodではなく。かつ、既にApple In-ear Headphones with Remote and Micを所持している方だけです。
サードパーティ製イヤフォンアダプター等が発売されるまで待つのが吉。
音質については、そもそもshuffleで音質を語ること自体が？なので、多くは語りませんが、ALAC対応している以上2ndよりは上だと思います。

小さく音質もそれなり、4G容量も良いが、同期が遅い!音声もMac以外でつかうと発音不明瞭です。まぁ価格が安い事が救い。お手軽iPodとしてなら合格点ですね。
