「Re-clammbon」以来2作目のセルフカバーアルバム。3ピースバンドとしての原点に立ち返ったようなシンプルでストレートなアレンジの楽曲が多く、セルフカバーアルバムなんだけど、ある意味元歌よりも元歌らしい、とてもクラムボンらしいアルバム。「Re-clammbon」は異色なアレンジを試みること自体が目的だったような気がしますが、このアルバムにはそういうお遊び的な要素は感じられません。元の楽曲を、今のクラムボンとして最もいい形で改めて提供してみよう、という姿勢がにじみでていて、アルバムとしての完成度が実に高い。
特にトラック1「Re-Re-シカゴ」とトラック8「Re-雨」は、カバーによって楽曲に全く新しい生命が吹き込まれていて、めちゃくちゃ良くなっています！また、予約限定盤のDVDがまた秀逸。このところソロ活動が多かった3人ですが、収録されている、小淵沢のスタジオでのレコーディング映像を見ていると、3人がバンドとして深い絆で結ばれているのが伝わってきて、さらに感動が深まります。

クラムボンのアルバムを通して聴いたのは、
本作が初めてですが、大変感動しました。

前半の、アコースティックギターを活かした
生感たっぷりの構成は、すんなりと、深く興味をひきつけられます。
カッティングが非常にさわやかな曲から、
一発録りの踊りだしたくなる曲、テノリオンを活用した曲など
聴き手を全く飽きさせない、表情豊かな曲達。

個人的にはRe-アホイ！とRe-雨に感動！
終盤にかけて、重なり増えていく音は
気持ちよく異世界へ連れ出してくれるかのようです。

最終日のライブに行かせてもらい、大変感動させてもらいました。
素晴らしいライブは、このアルバムの見事なアレンジ有ればこそ。
見事なアレンジが施せるのは、優れた原曲有ればこそ。
クラムボンって素晴らしい。
これを機会に、全てのアルバムを聴いてみようと思います。

　2009/6/2のライブに参加してきました!!なので余韻冷めやらぬレビューです。ご容赦下さい。

　クラムボンのアルバムは前作の「Musical」しか持っていなかったけれど、セルフカバー=ある意味ベスト盤に近い内容かなー？と思って購入してみました。（自分たちがセルフカバーする位だから、メンバー選曲のベストという意味で。）

　原曲は全然知らないのだけれど、全部good!!　捨て曲なしといえる内容だと思います。中にはRe-Reという2回目のセルフ・カバーの曲もあり、曲に対する愛情、懐の深さを感じます。

　小渕沢でレコーディングされた今作、ライブ会場ではそこでの食事や風景の写真がスライドショー形式で流されていて、ものすごく充実した時間の中でレコーディングされたことがひしひしと伝わって来ました。レコーディングの様子を収めた限定版DVDでもそれが良くわかります。一人一人の映像が基本2アングルくらいあって、それを1曲の中で一人だけ写したり、画面を3分割、4分割したりしてます。プレイヤーの方も参考になるのではないのでしょうか。

　特にM-1、M-2、M-7、M-8、M-9、M-11はオススメ!!

　曲順もじっくり考えてあるのでしょう、「流れ」がしっかりあり、1枚通して聴きたくなるアルバムです。

　原曲がどんな感じなのかも知りたくなりました。といかファンになったのですが…
