他のユーザー様のレビューを読んでみると
(恐らく)外国籍の方や“これまでウルトラマンには全く興味が無かった”という方にも大きな感動を与えており
もはや“フィギュア”の枠組みを越えた、芸術品としての素晴らしさが窺えます。

旧シリーズが続々リリースされていた頃は
高価な商品ゆえに、幼い僕には手が届く筈も無く
玩具店へ行くたびに羨望の眼差しを向けるだけの“高嶺の花”のような存在だった『京本コレクション』。

そのシリーズ復活第1弾を手にできただけでもう感無量な訳ですが
細部まで妥協を許さない丁寧な作り込みと
何より全高約50cmの堂々とした立ち姿から滲み出る圧倒的な存在感が商品そのものの価値を高めています。

同価格帯のフィギュア群と比較しても
これほどまで満足感を得られるアイテムはありません。

初代マンAタイプの造形物の最高峰と言って良いでしょう。

昨日、我が家に到着。早速開けるときの気分は、子供のころの気持ちに戻った様です。・・・そして・・・

素晴しい！旧シリーズも何気に気にはなっていつつも買わず終いだったのですが、雑誌でこのＡタイプを見た時・・・気持ちは迷わなかったです！その最初の勢いは消えないまま、ついに手に入れました！
旧シリーズとは比べ物にならないくらい格段の進歩です！！造形、色味、全体バランス、非常に満足です！細かい部分はオミットしていても、有り余る全体の醸し出すパワーは素晴しい！の一言！
ベタな展開でも、次は是非！仮面ライダー旧１号で！
何にしても次も期待しています！

実はこれまでウルトラマンには全く興味がありませんでした。それが先日ホビー誌で、このウルトラマンが京本政樹さんのインタビューと共に紹介されているのを見て、何かすごい芸術作品に見えて絶対欲しい!と、なけなしの小遣いをはたき、すぐに予約しました。子供の頃再放送のウルトラマンを見ていた記憶はありますが、ファーストウルトラマンではなかったのか、このAタイプのベコベコの頭には記憶がなくホビー誌の写真は衝撃でした。そうか最初はこんなんだったんだって。そしてついに本日、ウルトラマンAタイプが我が家に届きました!ドキドキしながら箱から取り出すと、もうとにかくすごいの一言。すごいものです。大きさも質感も塗装もスタイルも。もうウルトラマンというより、リアルな人形というより、もう美術品だと思います。ため息が出て見とれてしまいます。最初に書いたように、ウルトラマンに興味の無かった私でさえこの状態なので、ファンの方々はどうなっちゃうんでしょうか。このウルトラマンをじーっと見ていると、力が湧いてきます。何かエネルギーが伝わってきます。すごい。是非、手に取ってもらいたいです。我が家では孫の代まで大切にしていってもらうつもりです。
