声優・水樹奈々の7枚目のアルバム。

水樹さんは今まで色々なタイプの曲を唄ってきたためか、聴いてみて新鮮さはあまり感じませんでした。
しかし出来は良く、安心して聴けるアルバムだと思います。


ドラムと水樹さんの歌声が目立つロック曲の4「Trickster」、ストリングスをバックに唄う10「Dancing in the velvet moon」、綺麗なサウンドに水樹さんの感情のこもった歌声が乗る12「深愛」、ノリの良いアップチューンの14「Astrogation」、以上のシングル収録曲の4曲は、どれも良曲だと思います。

シングル収録曲以外のアルバムの目玉は、ルパン三世のオープニング曲を彷彿とさせるような1「MARIA&JOKER」、和風ロックの2「悦楽カメリア」、ノリの良い疾走チューンの9「Gimmick Game」でしょうか。

水樹さん作詞のバラード15「夢の続き」に出てくる「あなた」は水樹さんの母親かなあ(間違っていたらすいません)。

歌い方が変わったとおっしゃる方もいますが…

この曲調にはこの歌い方と、分けて歌っているのではないでしょうか?

ご自身のラジオで曲のバリエーションだけでなく、表現でも変えたとおっしゃってましたし…

その証拠に水樹さんは、ライブで昔の曲はだいたい昔のまま歌ってます。

ライブを意識してロック風に歌うのもありますが…「Suddenly」「Still in the groove」はびっくりするぐらい変わっていません。

たいていの歌手さんはマンネリを避けて、歌い方を変えてしまいますが…以前の曲も変わってしまうんですよね。

さらには、声が出せないからキーすらも変えてしまう…

水樹さんは声優だからなのかも知れませんが、昔の曲は昔のまま歌えてしまう…これって凄い事だと思います。

そもそも同じようなモノを求めるのなら新しくつくる必要はないですよね?

新たに売るということは、違うものを出してあたり前だと思います。

ちなみに私はJUMP!の歌い方が大好きなのですが…今回のアルバムも悪くないと思っています。

色々な歌い方ができるのは確かな歌唱テクニックがあるからだと思いますし…

いろんな表情があってもいいと私は思いました。

　アニソン界の王道派が出した最新アルバム。2曲目が和風テイストのアレンジで面
白い。シングルからはTricksterや深愛などが入っている。
　安心して聴いていられる相変わらずの安定感に脱帽。
