『過去、自分が関わった作品で間違いなく最高傑作』


キリト自身がインタビューでそう言ってる通り、このアルバムはヤバいです。

Angelo初期に感じられた音質の荒らさ、アレンジの拙さは全く感じられない。

ボーカルの声にも艶があって、低音には深みがあり高音はよく伸びている。


デビュー当時のAngeloはメロディよりもリズムを重視し
それ故ライブでは盛り上がるものの、CDで聴くにはどこか物足りないのも事実だったが

『薄紅の欠片』や『PRELUDE』『MICLO WAVE SLIDER』『BUTTERFLY』『薔薇の花』等を聴いた限り
非常に丁寧に作り込まれており、複雑で『らしい』アレンジに仕上がった曲達は、何度も聴き返したくなる強い中毒性を持っていると思います。


かと言ってガチガチに作り込んでいる訳ではなく、キリトのソングライティングを活かせるよう、ライブの感触を残しているのも巧いところ。


自身もインタビューで言っていましたが、ソングライターとして一皮剥けたとリスナーである私も感じました。



キリトが関わった作品ではPIERROT後期からAngelo初期にかけて、セルフ・プロデュースに移行した為か音質の荒らさが目立ちましたが

『THE FREAK SHOW』以降はそれも全く感じさせず、非常にクオリティの高い作品を安定して供給し続けているように思います。



ヘヴィなギターサウンドに耽美的なメロディや、切なさに儚さ。

だけど強い毒を感じさせる世界観は、とてもキリトらしくて心地よい。



ファンは女性が多いですが、男性にも聴いてもらいたいアルバムです。

まず始めに、相変わらず曲数が多いので、嬉しい限りです。
今回英詞が多い歌やKOHTAの作曲もあって、面白い内容になっています。

ファーストインプレッションで好きになる歌と、あとからくる歌がありました。
MICRO WAVE SLIDERはすぐ好きになりました。
ロザリオはあとから気に入りました・・深い歌ですね。

聴けば聴くほど味が出ると思います。
時間があれば歌詞考察もしたいですね。

あとDVD付きをおすすめします。
PVもですが、メイキングがとても良いです。
キリトのバースデーをメンバーが祝ってるシーンも少し見れますよ＾＾

ライブで盛り上がりそうな歌が多いので、参戦する前に聴き込んでおきましょう♪

やはりPIERROT時代と比べられてしまう所があるのはメンバーが3人いるという事もあるので仕方ないと思いますが、
PIERROT時代をフッ切った感じで本当の意味で新バンドの一作目の様な気がします。

1stの方はライブを意識して作られた感じで、歌詞の内容はやはり前バンドに対する思いが端々に見え隠れする感じでしたが、今回は音を作る事にこだわった様に思います。
歌詞もキリトの価値観がありつつ新しい世界観を感じます。

よく掲示板などで「PIERROT好きだった人にもオススメ」という言葉を目にしますが、
PIERROTの世界観とは全く違うのでヘドバン曲とかフリができそうな曲とか、その期待感で聴くのならオススメはしません。

本当にAngeloとしてのアルバムだと思います。
曲はライブで成長し、変化するものなので今後の変化にも期待します。
