　フォーリーブスが活躍していたのはまだ子供の頃でした。
「あれっ、なかなかいいグループだったんだ」と気づいたのは
昨年の蔵出しビッグショー（本年３月２日にも再放送）をたまたま見てから。
青山さんはホントに甘い声で正統派ヴォーカル、癒される歌声の持ち主です。
この人の声がこのグループの音を支えていたんだなぁ・・・と改めて納得。
　このＣＤの後半はそんな青山さんの近年の声（ＣＤ収録を想定していないライブ音源なので
音質は悪いです）が聴けて感無量です。
特に最後のFar Awayは昨年１１月の収録で、その後の病状を思うにつけ、
絶唱のように感じ、心に沁み入りました。
このヴォーカリストが、７８年の解散後、この歌声をフルに披露する場に恵まれなかったこと、
惜しまれてなりません。

ジャニーズの原点と言われ、成る程と思うのはフォーリーブスファンに共通した感性だと思います。４人の絆の強さは再デビュー後の活躍で解ります。歌もダンスも温かく清潔感溢れ、ごまかしが無く誠実です。今のジャニーズを越えてます。ター坊がいなくなった辛さに耐えられない自分から、このCDを聴いて少しずつ冷静さを取戻しているところです。

優秀なター坊だから、もう一つの希望通り医師になっていたら、あの甘く力強い魅力的な歌唱力に出会えなかった訳です。当時、ソニーでディレクターをしていらした酒井政利氏に「これが１０代の子の歌唱力かと驚いた」と言わせたター坊。フォーリーブスというグループを支えてくれたことに心から感謝します。

ライヴ収録は素晴らしいです。泣きます。４人の息がピッタリ合った大人の歌声も成長がひしひしと染み入ってきますよ。青春を分かち合った方は、絶対に購入すべきです。そして願わくばウエディングソングとして「IT'S　MORE愛」が日本中を駆け巡ることを祈ります。ター坊本当に有り難う。ずっと愛し続けます。
