　うーん。しょっぱなに受けた地味な印象が最近少し変わってきたぞ。友人に指摘されて気づいたが、近未来観や恋愛ではなく、なんでもない「日常」（今回は春のお引越しシーズン）を歌詞にしてテクノ/エレ・ポップに載せるというのはJ-POP/歌謡曲では何気に新しいことではなかろうか。「音楽と人」4月号でヤスタカが歌詞に凄い自信を持っていたというエピソードが明かされているが、ヤスタカが狙ったのもその辺なのかもしれない。狙ってやったとすれば、やはり彼はとんでもなく優秀なソング・ライターである。

　カップリング曲「23:30」は前シングル収録「願い」同様に、オーソドックスなスロー・ナンバーで、Jazzyですらある。午前零時前まで夜更かしすることも、「愛して」と歌うことも、全く違和感がない年齢になった彼女達。上述のような「日常感」とあわせて、「自然体の日常でディスコ」という二律背反をうまく表現してくれていると思う。

　何が凄いって、Perfumeの歌の幅を広げることが、そのままJ-POPの幅を広げることに結びついているという事実が凄い。ただ、今回のこの進化は凄く地味なので（笑）、世間的なインパクトはそんなにないだろう。「ポリリズム」級のインパクトがあるスマッシュ・ヒットがそろそろ欲しいというのは、ファンの無いものねだりだろうか。。ヤスタカ、頑張れ！応援してるぞ！

いうなればレトロフューチャーですよ、これ。サウンド的にはマドンナが展開していたフューチャー・ディスコと同じく、テクノというよりヨーロッパ系エレクトロ連中寄りのサウンドで、いろいろ仕掛けがあって、ちょっとニンマリしてしまう作りです。むかしならProphet-5で出している金管楽器系の音を時折入れてくるあたりに懐かしさのツボを押されてしまい、なんかほっこりして来ます。繰り返し繰り返し聞いているとティンパンアレイの頃の松任谷正隆がそのままタイムマシンで現れてアレンジしたような気がするんだよね。若き日の大貫妙子が歌っていても不思議じゃない曲が時を越えてやってきた、みたいな。若い人には反発を食らうとは思うけど、今振り返るとあの頃は商業的な手垢がついていないJ-POPが一番輝いていた頃だったんだな〜と思う。「『アイドル』の意味を回復する3人」と言われていたけど、それを越えて「J-POPの意味を回復」させているんじゃないかと。だからPerfume/中田ヤスタカには、いい歳の音楽好きなおっさんが集まってくるんだと思う。オレも十分過ぎるほどにおっさんだけど。

ラジオで偶然聞いてビビっと来ました。
メジャーデビューしてからのPerfumeにはなかったPerfumeらしさがこの曲にあると思います。
いわゆるチョコレイト・ディスコやパーフェクトワールド・パーフェクトスター、エレクトロワールドであったような、とてもノリの良いピコピコ音が気持ち良いです。
サビの入り方もイントロも凄く良いです。
間違いなくPerfumeファンであるならば買いの一枚だと思います。
