自分の人生を変えたバンド。中学生の時にディーペストパープルを聴いて、本格的に洋楽ロックにめざめました。このベストは、リマスターが素晴らしく高音質です!値段も安いし、代表曲ばかりで、初めての1枚にオススメ。学生たちがこのアルバムを聴いて、ロックに目覚めることを願っています!

昔からDeep Purpleのベスト盤といえばDeepest Purpleと相場は決まっており、ファン必携である。
しかし、このRHINO編集のベストはさらに購入する価値のある１枚といえる。
まず、RHINOだけに資料が豊富であり、それを読むだけでも価値がある。
さらに、音質の向上が明らかなため聴き心地が非常に良い。その上、安いとくるので言うことなし。　この１枚は間違いなくお勧めできる。

Deepest Purpleは収録時間が長く音質がLPではややキツイ面もあった。CDになってそれが解消したかといえばそれほどでもなかった。しかし、この１枚ではそれも解消。
収録曲もDeepest Purpleの目玉でもあったDemon's　Eyeを残したのは英断。

まだDeep Purpleを聞いたことのないロックファンは、是非この１枚を聞いて欲しい。

さすがベストというだけあって有名曲がたくさんはいっています。「Black Night」「Smoke On The Water」「Burn」この辺りは誰でも一度は聴いた事があると思います。これらの有名曲からDEEP PURPLEの世界に入って行くのもいいのではないでしょうか?
