個人的にはセカンドシーズンのストーリーは人と人とがわかりあえるのかというテーマだと思います。 サジとルイスを代表としていろんなキャラらがその難しさを現してると思い深いなと感じます。
後SEEDからオタクが見るものという人がいますがそれはもの凄い偏見だと思いますよ。ってうか昔からガンダムはそんなイメージがありが、今も昔も男女の子供から大人まで愛されてるのがガンダムですし、そういう偏見は小さな世界でしか生きてない人だと思いますよ。 視聴率的に考えてもオタクだけが見てる数字ではないですしね。SEEDはかなりよかったみたいですし、00も平成ガンダムの中では普通にいい方です。 後あまり言いたくないですがSEEDはオタクからあまり好かれてないですしね。

ガンダムの映像ソフトは全コンプリートしてるので
今回のシリーズも買ってますが評価できる点は画質なのでDVDではなくBDで購入
画質にこだわりたい方はやはりこのBDでの購入がお勧め

それと他のレビューで気になった点も言及しますが
まずいちいちSEEDを出すのはいい加減にしましょうね
他作を貶し自分の趣向を持ち上げるなんて最低です
SEEDのアンチはハッキリ言って異常ですよ
amazonのレビュー記事をわざわざ荒らして
そんなにガンダム嫌いなら見なければいい

1stガンダムは確かにクラスの男子なら全員見てるて規模でしたが
もう2作目のＺからは学年のオタク君しか見てないて規模でしたからね
そう言うならＺからガンダムはオタク向けと言えますね
それにそもそもガンダムて利発で明朗快活な子はまず見ないでしょ？
それとオタク層でいうならガンダムシリーズは圧倒的に宇宙世紀の方が人気高いですよ
オタクでSEED好きなんて聞いたことがありません
口を開けばあれはガンダムじゃない、など半ば常套句と化した語句しか言ってませんね
そして劣等感と自己顕示欲にかられ、某大型掲示板で日がな一日常駐とかね

まぁ私はガンダム全作大好きだしSEEDもDESTINYも最高の作品だと思ってますから
勝手知ったるガンダムファン同士、些細なことで争うのはやめましょうや
人間性の底が知れるし、そんなのがガンダムの劇中で排除すべき悪として描かれてる人物像でしょ
自分がそれになってしまってどうするんですか？

この作品に登場した衛星兵器「メメントモリ」について調べたらラテン語で「死を想え」「死の意味を知れ」といった意味があるそうです。その他にも「今ある生活が続くと思うな」などといった意味もあるらしく、この事からも制作スタッフもストーリーや作画だけでなく、名前にも相当なこだわりがあるという事が分かります。正直、前作のガンダム(SEED)はキャラクターの人気ばかりで凄く嫌いな作品でしたが、今回のガンダムはストーリーもオリジナル性が増し、キャラクターもビジュアルだけだった前作と違い中身も良くなっていて、かなり好感が持てる作品に仕上がってました。前作で見限ってしまったという人にこそ、是非観てほしい作品です。
