自由度の高いゲームが好きなので調べたらこのゲームにたどり着きました。
私は外人なので拙い日本語（レビュー）ですみません。

■ストーリー
侍道シリーズは初めてですが、シリーズをやったことがなくても遊べます。
自分の行動、会話の選択肢次第でストーリーや人の好感度に影響されます。
町のオブジェクトを壊したり町の人、重要人物なども殺生することが可能です。
イベントフラグがガタガタになりますが、それでもクリアできるので問題ないです。
エンディングは20種類以上あります。遊び方次第では30分以内にクリアできます。
2週目のスタート時は、以前のデータを引き継ぐので「つよくてニューゲーム」状態です。
せっかく集めた武器、覚えた技などがリセットされることはないので何度でも遊べます。
逆に2回以上やりこまないと損なゲームと言えるでしょう。

■戦闘
私はコマンド入力系のアクションが苦手ですが、これなら大丈夫です。
ボタンをめちゃくちゃに押していれば何とかなります。戦闘シーンは快感です。
三國無双をやったことがある方ならイメージはこれに近いです。
技も武器も何種類もあり覚えていくのが楽しいです。
100人斬り（画面に100人の敵が現れる）のミニイベントを起こしてもラグは起こりません。

全体的に硬派な侍ゲームというよりは、何度も遊ぶバカゲーくらいな気持ちで
プレイするといいでしょう。（野菜に殺されたりしますから！）
ダウンロードコンテンツでコスプレアイテムが増えたり、（ストーリーも増えるかな？）
拡張性の高いところをみても長く遊べると思います。

外人特有の偏った侍イメージで贔屓めに書かせていただきましたが、
非常に楽しいゲームです。ご清聴を感謝します。

侍シリーズは初代、2をプレイ済です。
自分と同じく侍シリーズファンの方にはオススメしたい出来。

新たに峰打ちが出来るようになったことで敵に情けをかけることも出来れば
土下座して命乞いをしたりと格好良くも悪くも、より「侍らしく」遊べるように。
更にこのゲームのメインとも言える刀の収集、強化に新たな要素として「オリジナル刀作成」が加わりました。
システム面では移動速度が旧作より速くなり、移動しながらの抜刀納刀が可能に。
その他にも細かな改善点が多く見られ、前作から正統進化した作品だと思います。
独特のバカゲーっぽさも健在。

悪いところを挙げるならば、際立った追加要素や変化がないところ。
伴侶システムもあってもなくてもいいオマケ程度に感じました。
また今作では渡世（クエスト）を行うことで収入を得るのですが、渡世の内容がどれも似たり寄ったりな上に面倒臭いだけで面白味は全くありませんでした。

はじめて侍シリーズに手を出す方には定価で買う際はよく考えることをおすすめします。
やり込みゲーとしてはややボリューム不足で
箱庭ゲーとしてはMAPが狭く、やや自由度に欠け
アクションゲームとしては戦闘がやや雑把。
個人的には侍になりきり独特な雰囲気を楽しみ、気に入った刀を鍛え上げてニヤニヤするゲームだと思っています。

シリーズファンなら定価で買っても楽しめるかと。
初侍なら3000円前後であればおすすめ出来る程度のボリュームでしょうか。

出来るだけ客観的に書いたので、やや悪い評価になってしまったかもしれません。
個人的には非常に楽しいゲームです。
侍や刀や殺陣や辻斬りが好きであれば是非！

PS3で発売された侍道3がXBOX360でも発売します。箱を持っていて、PS3を持ってなかった方にはとてもうれしいでしょう。

XBOX360版には
●追加要素あり
●ダウンロードコンテンツあり
との事です。

侍道3が初プレイなのですが、自由度もあり、刀も豊富、ストーリーも多彩なので初めは楽しめますが、たくさんやっていくと飽きてきます。
