内容紹介

ムーンライダーズのライブアルバム「MOONRIDERS 1980.10.11 at HIROSHIMA KENSHIN KODO」が3月18日にリリースされることになった。
恒例アーカイブシリーズの第4弾となる本作は、日本のニューウェーブ史に残る名作「カメラ=万年筆」発売時のツアーから、新たに発掘された1980年10月11日の広島見真講堂でのライブ音源を完全収録したもの。サウンドボードからライン録音されたこの音源は、すべて本邦初公開の完全未発表音源となっている。
ムーンライダーズがもっとも過激でトンガっていた時期の驚愕のパフォーマンス。彼らが当時どれだけ時代の最先端を独走していたのかが追体験できる、貴重な資料となっている。

これに対する感想はない。やっとここまで来た！この後だ、この後！「青空百景」以降だ！
特に水族館レーベル時代、マニラマニエラ、アマチュアアカデミーのブレンド期間のやつを待つ！
ついでに、アニマルインデックス、ドントラまでお願い！
１０周年記念は、そのまま編集なしで待つ！どんなに長くても、そのまま出して！お願い！
だから、やっぱり物足りない！

すっかり忘れていた。こんな時代を僕らは生きてきたんだった。でも、どう聞いたって古臭いし、ボーカルは下手だ。当時のライブでは圧倒的なパワーと時代の最先端を体験できていたのに、今になって冷静に聞いてみると、バンドの必死さが似合わない。個人的にはこの後のポップなライダーズが好きなだけに、あまり思い入れもない。だが、楽曲が良いためか、それなりには楽しめる。日本のニューウェイブのかなりの部分が現在でも当たり前のようにつかわれている。そういった意味ではすごい時代だった。
