香港から帰ってきた日に、この雑誌の存在に気づきました。早速取り寄せたところ、普通のガイドブックにあまり載っていない麺屋さんや餅屋（お菓子屋）さんの情報がいっぱい。九龍城の小さなお店の情報や元朗の散歩地図！羅富記の魚片粥以外のお粥（豚レバー粥）の写真！うーん、いく前に見たかった。次回の参考にします。

ガイドブックには必ず載っている超有名店から、
それほどではないローカルなお店まで、
とにかくたくさんのレストランが載っているのがいいです。

香港リピーターの方であれば、毎度内容の変わらない
ガイドブックを買い換えるより発行されたばかりの
ミシュラン香港・マカオの掲載店（星付店だけなのが残念ですが）
情報を含むこちらの雑誌は、最新のレストランリストとして
持っておくと役立つのではないでしょうか。

地図も載っているので、香港初心者の方にもお勧めできます。

近々香港へ行くので、いろいろ資料を集めている。
その中の1冊。
旅行ガイドって情報が多すぎて、どう見ていいのかよく分からない。
結局、「地球の歩き方」を最初から最後まで読んで、
気になった地区にフォーカスして、なんて気の遠くなるようなことをしている。

この本はワンテーマで旅に関する雑誌なのだけれど、
これで大きめ（A3くらいの）地図があればもっといいなー。
地図があるにはあったけれど、繁華街別にちょこちょこっとあるだけど、
もうちょっとほしかったなー、というのが正直な感想。

でも、食事どころはたくさん載っていて、いい予習になりました。
表紙に「さあさあ香港で食べますよ！」と銘打ってあるだけあって、
食べもの情報は満載だけれど、ショッピング情報はあまりなし。
香港ってショッピングよりも食べ物、なのかな？
