前作は彼女の発見にも有った通り、ポップス中心、いわゆる一般受けがしやすいキャッチーなナンバーが多かった。

私としては勿論これもある意味彼女の色々な側面も有って悪くは無いと思っていたが、どこか一般受けにこだわり過ぎててスパイスが足りない気がしたのも事実。

しかし…。今作は完全別格!
媚びた様な無難なポップスが除去され、ハードでスパイスたっぷりなHipHop、エレクトロ、R&Bが聴くリスナーを待ち受けています。
一般受け等全く無視した完成度の高い作品には思わず舌を巻きました。

今作は過去の作品で言うと2〜3作に近いです。

こういう姿。
これこそが倖田來未の真の姿ですね。これを気に無難なポップスに距離を置いて欲しいと願うばかり…。

4.0 out of 5 stars いっそ、コンセプト・アルバムやブルーズは？, 2009/3/29
　倖田來未をずっと聴いてきて、不満もある。しかし、彼女への一部の感情的な批判は理解不能だ。体格も声量も貧弱な歌手だらけの中、彼女の歌唱力とセクシーさはやはり突出している。
　本作は７枚目のアルバム。ナイト・クラブでのショウが一つのモティーフのようだが、直接的にそうした題材の曲は３ぐらいか。最近のポップ・ミュージックの音作りに詳しいわけではないが、基本的には現代的Ｒ＆Ｂの枠内で、多彩な曲調が試みられていると思われる。
　彼女の作品で、いつもちょっと物足りない点の一つが歌詞だが、前述の３は面白かった。いっそ、コンセプト・アルバムなどを作ってみたらどうだろう。音楽面では、７０〜８０年代のソウルを思わせる１２がよかった。谷村奈南の新曲も同様の曲調だ。
　悪いアルバムではないのだが、まだいささかの不満が残る。上記のコンセプト・アルバムのような試みを求めたい。また、その歌唱や３の終盤を聴いても思うのだが、彼女には、ブルーズやブルーズ・ロックが合っているのではないか。

ファンですが前作はあまり聴き入る程聞きませんでした、数回しか聞いてない曲も多数、、、ブリブリな歌が多くて

しかし今回のアルバムは駄曲がほぼ無し

とにかくカッコイイアルバムです。
カッコイイ主体のアルバムなだけに、今作の中唯一のキュート曲(友達の唄)も結構好きです。
