　本作のような、定評のある、しかも中身がしっかり伴った大傑作を、改めてレビューするのも、気が引けるが。

　本作の良さは、アルバムの中の、良い曲含有率が高いとか、キラー・チューンを含んでいるか、そういうことではなく（無論、そういうこともあるが）、一種のトータル･アルバムのように、全体に統一性があるというか、最後の「モンシェリー」まで牽引してしまう、その魔法にあると思う。
　とにかく、何度聴いても、芝居仕立ての１曲目に針を落とすと（無論、比喩です）、かもめの鳴き声が聴こえる、その曲だけメンバー構成が異なりアコースティック処理されているラストの曲まで、どうしても途中で止めることが出来ないのです。

　もう何度も再発されているから、マニア以外にも本作を耳にしたことのある音楽ファンは多いと思うが、それでもなお、本作をまだ聴いたことが無くてこのレビューを読んでいる方には、「今すぐ購入を」！！！

　ただ、熱心なファンから言わせてもらえば、既に何度もリイシュー経験済みで、カタログにも常時残っている本作を敢えて再発するよりも、埋もれているほかのブルー・ノート時代のマリーナのリーダー･アルバムを、まずは復刻して欲しかったところ。

CDで買い直してしまいました。Marlena Shawの最高傑作！JAZZYな雰囲気が気に入っています。彼女のいろんな面を楽しめるアルバムになっています。忘れていけないのは参加しているミュージシャン凄すぎます。ぜひ聞いてみてください。
