全体としては良い出来になったと思います。
ただし、2006までに収録されていた優勝者のフリースタイルが収録されて無い、予選のチョイスが微妙など、所々に不満の残る出来となっています。
あと、リリースタイミングがいくらなんでも遅すぎではと……。いろいろなうわさがありますが、2008年版は遅くとも夏ごろにリリースしてもらいたいですね。

2005、2006と変遷を辿っていくとダラダラした部分や
重複する部分がカットされてて2007はかなりタイトにまとまっています。
そういう意味では初心者でもサクサク見れるような編集にまとまっていました。
しかし、その分現場の雰囲気が格段に下がったような気もします。

特にGOCCIの勝利フリースタイルがカットされてたのは、
ライブラ側から納得いく説明がないと理解に苦しみます。
やっぱり太華とシャーリーのダラダラした絡みとかセコンドのシャウトや
敗者のインタビューって必要なのだなと思いました。(ナイ物ねだりになってしまうのですが。)

価格が前回よりも1000円UPしている分、
2枚組みで「みちっり詰まった予選ベストバウト集」と「ノーカット決勝完全版」という風に分けて欲しかったですね。
そういった地方の状況をしっかり取り上げることが地方でHIPHOPやっている人への
モチベーションにもなるということをライブラさんは是非肝に銘じて欲しいです。

アーティスト面ではやはりBESとGOCCIの決勝が凄まじい。
あとFLOW巧者のCOBA5000と押韻のYOUTHの長い延長戦は
B-BOY PARKからバトルを見てきている人には涙モノです。
新潟のUSUとエッセンスの試合も互いのアンサーが即興性が高く、
JAG-MEとNICKAのセッションになっちゃうようなバトルもレベル高いです。

断言できるのは間違いなく買って損はしません、
明らかにどのバトルDVDよりも個々MCのスキルが高いと思います。
その分もっと現場を大切に編集にして欲しかったと思いました。
購入予定の方は「完全ノーカット」の見出し大嘘なんでそこは気をつけてください。

　やや演出過剰にも思えた2006年の大会と比較すると、進行はスムーズ。そのぶん、司会役やオーディエンスの反応や大会全体の演出に物足りなさをおぼえ、現場の熱気が画面上を通して伝わってこない気がした。また、今回は予選大会を詳細に記録した映像がほとんど収録されていないため、グランドチャンピオンシップという、それに至るまでのドラマが会場に足を運んだ者以外には感じられない。そのため、早々と初戦から敗退したＭＣはアピールが弱く、印象に残らない。結果、最後に収録された漢と般若がステージに立つ姿が、もっともインパクトがあるものとなってしまったように思えた。西の大物ＭＣがくじ運の悪さで、今回も一回線で姿を消したこともあって、どこかこじんまりとした華に欠ける大会と感じられた。
