PC版や前作などは未プレイです。
Wiiで手軽に遊べるゴルフゲームを求めて購入しました。
過去にはPS2のみんゴル4やGCのマリオゴルフ・WiiのWiiスポーツなどをプレイしたことがあるので、
それらとの比較を中心にレビューしていきます。

まず、コースやギミックの奇抜さはみんゴル以上マリオゴルフ以下といったところ。
コース上に用意されたリングを通すことでボールが加速し、飛距離が伸びる「ブースターゲート」などの仕組みはなかなか楽しめます。

キャラクターに関してはあからさまに萌え系ばかりなのが気になります。
可愛いけど、やはりみんゴルの「スズキ」みたいな普通のおっさんキャラが
もう一人くらいいても良かったのでは。
また、クラブハウスでコスチュームや髪型などを購入して自由に変更できますが、
これもかなり萌えを重視したラインナップとなっており、
一人で遊ぶ分には良いとしても家族みんなで遊ぶのは抵抗があるかも。

操作は、スイングゴルフというタイトル通り、Wiiリモコンをスイングしてショットを打つ形式。
威力の決め方が、Wiiスポーツに収録されているゴルフとは少し違っていて、
リモコンを振り上げるとその角度によってゲージが動き、
丁度良い所でAボタンを押せばその狙った強さに固定されるため
飛距離の調整は格段にしやすくなっています。
ただ、実際にスイングした時のリモコンの角度によって飛ぶ方向が左右にずれたりするので
慣れない間は真っ直ぐ打つのも難しいかも。
一応オプションから、リモコンのボタンで操作する形式にも変更できますが、
試していないので操作感は分かりません。
次回作があれば、クラシックコントローラにも対応してみんゴル風の操作も可能にして欲しいですね。

この他の不満点としては、プレイしていて次のホールへ移動する際に
いちいち「次へ」ボタンをリモコンでポイントして決定しなければいけない点でしょうか。
普通にAボタンを押すだけで次のステージに移動してくれる仕様だと楽なんですが。
同じく操作に関して、クラブハウスの操作性の悪さも気になりました。
多くの衣装があるにも関わらず一覧性に乏しく、また購入済みと未購入が分けられていないため、非常に分かりにくい。
ショップモードみたいなものを用意して、そちらで購入したもののみをクラブハウスで表示するなどすれば分かりやすくなったのでは。
いずれにせよ、現状ではクラブハウスの操作性はかなり悪いと言わざるを得ません。
他には、雪の舞うコースなどでよく起きる処理落ちなんかも出来るだけ改善して欲しいところ。

とまあ、いくつか不満点はありますが、ツアーモードのCOMもほどよい強さで、なかなか楽しめるゴルフゲームではあります。
ある程度操作に慣れてくると、狙い通りに飛ばせるようになって爽快ですし、
萌えキャラが好きな方はもちろん、Wiiで普通にゴルフゲームを遊びたい方にもオススメできます。
