ブラジル音楽にチャレンジしていますが、
なんちゃって感が拭えないような、そんな印象です。
ただ、十分に自分のカラーにしちゃっているところはさすがです。
さらっと聴く分には非常に心地よいですけど。

彼女がブラジル音楽を作品に取り入れたのは初めてではない。しかし、今回はアルバムに占めるその割合が過去最大のような印象で宣伝されていたのでブラジリアン・ミュージックとダイアナ・クラールとい組み合わせに期待大でしたが、あんまりお似合いなカップルとはいえないと思いました。
私は暗い表情のダイアナが大好きなのですが、ボサノバには似合わない。
見事彼女色に染め上げたという点では★５だと思いますし、普段はブラジル音楽とは無縁のジャズファンには素晴しく響いたとしても、常日頃ブラジル音楽を聴いている私にはガッカリかなぁ。
「歌の解釈間違ってるよ」って教えたくなります。そして、ブラジル音楽はもっともっと美しいものです。ブラジルの美しさを表現できていないので、★３です。

クラールのCDはどれも楽しんできましたが、今回のCDは私のテイストではちょっといただけない感がありました。まずは彼女のささやくような歌い方がこれまでと違うのにとまどいました。歌い方そのものは悪くないと思いますが、それがブラジリアンと合っているのかはやや疑問。それから、バンドの演奏がきちんと聞こえないのが残念。アコースティックギターとパーカッションの音をもっとしっかり聞きたいです。
