本作に登場するのは最新鋭の現役ラリーマシンから、歴代のオールドマシンまで30種類以上の実車たち。なかには特定のステージ専用にチューンされたモンスターマシンや一定の条件を満たさないと出現しない隠しマシンなども存在する。ダート、舗装路、雪山、ジャングルなどなど、異なる路面特性を持つ15以上のコースを、自分の走行スタイルに合ったマシンで走り抜けることができる。新しいコースやマシンを獲得するには、「チャンピオンシップモード」をプレイする必要がある。レースに参加し、ポイントを獲得していくことでコースやマシンがアンロックされていくのだ。次世代機ならではのオンライン機能では、最大6人まで同時に走ることが可能。ゴーストカーのデータをダウンロードすれば、世界のトッププレイヤーと1対1で勝負することもできる。また、自身の走行記録が世界ランクトップ100以内にランクインすればゴーストカーデータをアップロードすることも可能だ。ラリーを極めて、世界に自分の記録をアピールしよう!!

アーケードの1や2が好きだった人がこれを買うと後悔します。タイトルに騙されてはいけません。セガラリー2の続編ではなくただ単にセガがラリーゲーム作っただけ 本家AM3は一切関わってないっぽい 背景グラフィックがなんかPCっぽい つかPCでも出てたな… アーケードで1や2をした方はとんだ肩透かしをくらう事間違いない。最近のセガのアーケードのレースゲームはイニシャルDばっかで正直アーケードでもう一度AM研が制作したセガラリーがやりたいです。
