幸運にも日本盤を予約する事ができ、本日届きました！
最初通して聴いてみた時は、ちょっと物足りなさを感じたのですが、
二回目以降、良さがわかってきました。
私が一番気に入ったのは、1番の「Life In Technicolor ii」と4番の「Rainy Day」です。
1番は旋律だけだった前作に、見事に歌詞がつきましたね。メロディーが美しいです。
4番は、サビにあたる部分に、「Viva La Vida」を彷彿とさせる雰囲気があります。
ちょっと残念だったのは、アルバムと同名のトラックに一番期待していたのですが、
静かな感じであまり印象に残らなかったことです。
また「Lovers In Japan [Osaka Sun Mix]」については、
原曲とあまり変化がないのかな〜という感じがしましたが、
全体的にみてアルバムとしての完成度は高いと思います！！
クラシック音楽のような落ち着いた仕上がりです。
「Viva La Vida」のアルバムを持っている方は聴く価値があります。

コールドプレイのニューアルバムは
Viva La Vida は前作のX&Yとは違って
全体的に明るい感じの印象があり、
個人的には大好きです。

そんな彼らの新作とのことですが・・・・
オフィシャルのサイトでは
ニューアルバムと記載されていますが、
曲数と内容を普通に考えるとEPですよね。

前作X&YでもTill Kingdom Come を
シークレットトラックにしていたり
赤いジャケットのX&Y２枚組を
発売していましたが、
今回は、単体での発売と
さらにはViva La Vida との
セット発売もしているじゃありませんか！

商売上手というべきなのか・・・
ファンとしては新作は嬉しいですが、
日本のアーティストだったら
初回限定盤を２枚組にして
通常盤と同時に発売すると思います。

せめて、日本限定でもよいので
次回はそうしませんか？

多くの人にとってそうであったように私にとってもVIVA LAVIDAは2008のベストアルバム。
ただそのすぐ後にこのショートアルバムが出て「VIVA・・・には続きがあった」とかなんとか、でもそのVIVA・・・と抱き合わせで2枚組セットになってた。「そんなアホな！」「なんでやねん！」「え、VIVA・・・をもう一回買えってか？！」と思った人が多かったのではないか。そんな折この一枚別売りをここアマゾンで発見して即買い。海外からの発送とかで2週間以上かかったがなんとか着いた。
内容的には別のタイトルが付いているもののこれはVIVA・・・の続編と思えばいい。いや、これもVIVA・・・だと思えばいい。流れは続いている、VIVA・・・からそのまま続いて聴けばいい。VIVA・・・のアルバムが延長されたと考えればいい・・・とカンジる。VIVA・・・が好きな人にはやっぱりオススメ、やはり2枚共持っていたい！！！

アルバム（Viva la Vida）よりも、こちらのミニアルバムのほうが、余計なギミックが少なく、また、曲数が少ない分まとまりがあって、断然よいと私は思います。
