2ndシリーズも川井さんが重厚かつ美しいサウンドを楽しませてくれます。
1stシリーズでインパクトの強かった混声合唱は影を潜め、今回はギターと女性コーラスが印象に残ります。(もちろん近年の川井サウンドで印象強いドンドコ鳴りまくるパーカッションも!)
アロウズ関連の女性コーラスやギターとパーカッションのリズム感溢れて今作のバトルを盛り上げる『5.Strike』
ストレートにヒロイックな『8.00GUNDAM』などなど重厚な川井サウンドを堪能させてもらっています!
クライマックスに向けての追加楽曲に期待したいです!もちろん来年の川井さんの活躍も!!

ｾｶﾝﾄﾞ･ｼｰｽﾞﾝ用に新たに製作されたVOL．3ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ。
本編では、ﾌｧｰｽﾄ･ｼｰｽﾞﾝで製作されたﾄﾗｯｸも多用されているが
特に戦闘ｼｰﾝでの新たなﾄﾗｯｸの重厚さは特筆。

一部川井氏製作の「ｽﾀｰｼｯﾌﾟ･ｵﾍﾟﾚｰﾀｰｽﾞ」に似ているﾄﾗｯｸもあるが
それはそれ、新たな魅力として生きている。

本編の異常な緊張感が音楽に呼応するように、各ﾄﾗｯｸの緊張感は
過去のVOL1＆VOL2には存在しないもの。何より、「daily」や「holiday」
のような穏やかなﾄﾗｯｸは最早皆無。
全体的な感触として使用されている楽器類はVOL1＆2に比較して少なくなっている
ような、またｱﾝﾋﾞｴﾝｽ感が深く強調されていて、楽器類の少なさが逆に
効果を上げている。平坦な音場ではないのだ。

しかし、本編の救いの無い展開とﾘﾝｸする、その音世界の切なさは
特筆。

悲劇と戦闘と謀略。ここにあるのはそれだけ。

川井氏のｽｺｱは、ここに登場する全ての人たちへのﾚｸｲｴﾑを
鳴らしているかのようだ。

間違いなく本編は主要なｷｬﾗｸﾀｰの悲劇で収束すると思われる。
個人的な嗜好でいえばﾏﾘｰ･ﾌｧｰﾏｼｰとﾊﾚﾙﾔ、そしてﾏﾘﾅ姫にだけは
悲劇では終わって欲しくないのだが。。。
そして音楽は益々、ﾀﾞｰｸに悲劇的になっていく。

さて、VOL4はﾘﾘｰｽされるのだろうか？

またしても、ﾊﾟｯｹｰｼﾞが必要以上の豪華なﾊﾟｯｹｰｼﾞになり、高額に
なってしまった。ただのｼﾞｭｴﾙ･ｹｰｽでのﾘﾘｰｽでもｶﾞﾝﾀﾞﾑ・ﾏﾆｱは何も
不満は漏らさないと思うのだが。ｼﾞｬｹｯﾄ･ﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝは恐ろしく手の込んだ
ﾃﾞｻﾞｲﾝとなっていて、それだけでも満足している。
更にいえば、最近は川井氏の所謂、「ゆるい」解説文も掲載されず
残念。

もう一つ、ﾎﾞｰﾅｽ･ﾄﾗｯｸが何故かﾌｧｰｽﾄ･ｼｰｽﾞﾝのOPﾃｰﾏとEDﾃｰﾏがそれぞれ
TVｻｲｽﾞで収録されているが、ここはｾｶﾝﾄﾞ･ｼｰｽﾞﾝ用のﾃｰﾏを収録するべきだろう。
特に石川智晶嬢の歌うEDﾃｰﾏ「prottype」はｾｶﾝﾄﾞ･ｼｰｽﾞﾝの空気にﾋﾟｯﾀﾘの
名作だと思うが。

そして、ここへきてEDﾃｰﾏも変更、川井氏が作曲に加わったﾓﾉになった。
これがまた涙を誘う曲なのだ。これは是非VOL4に収録を願いたい。

「ウルトラマンネクサス」やTV「Fate/stay night」でもその実力をまざまざと見せつけ……否、聴かせつけてくれた大ベテラン・川井憲次氏による、「ガンダムOO」サウンドトラック３枚目です。

曲は無論、セカンドシーズンのもので構成されています。OO起動時の場面をこれ以上ないほど盛り上げた「OO GUNDAM」や「Take-Off」などの勇壮を極める曲。冒頭を飾る「Unified World」やアロウズのテーマ曲「A-LAWS」などの重々しい曲。失われた過去を想う場面に流れる「Affection」のような切ない曲。どれも素晴らしく質が高いです。目を閉じればそれだけで、鋭く思い緊張感を有するOO本編の名場面が甦るでしょう。

やや大仰な表現を赦していただけるなら「心震わす名曲」揃いの一枚。OOファンはもちろん、川井音楽ファンならば購入して間違いなしの名盤と言えます。
唯一残念なのは、川井氏のコメントがサントラ「01」のときのように語られていない点。ぜひ、傑作の第二期に関わる氏の思い入れを知りたかった。
次の４枚目が出れば、おそらくそれがOO最後のサントラになるでしょう。そこに期待したいです。
