まさに奇跡である。彼らが日本初のサイケデリック・ロック・グループというのはいわずもがな、世界のサイケデリック・ロック作品のマスターピースとしてPOKORA本にも紹介されている(最近ではJコープの本にも)永遠の名作２枚がボーナストラックを含むSHM−CDとして再び蘇る。

｢ジャックスの世界」のボーナスとして｢この道」(以前はLegendでしか聴けなかった)、｢からっぽの世界(シングルヴァージョン)」、｢いい娘だね(シングルヴァージョン)」、｢マリアンヌ(シングルヴァージョン)」、｢時計をとめて(シングルヴァージョン)」の５曲が、｢ジャックスの奇蹟」(つのだひろ参加)には｢花が咲いて(オルタナティヴ・ヴァージョン)」と｢ロールオーバーゆらの助(オルタナティヴ・バージョン」の２曲が収録される。リマスターもされて、SHMなので音質は期待できそうだ。

ボーナス・ディスクとしてデビュー当時のラジオセッションを集めた｢Echoes In The Radio」(ニッポン放送「フォーク・ビレッジ」でのライブ録音)にさらにTBSラジオ｢ライト・ミュージック・コンテスト」のアナウンス入りの数曲を加える予定となっている。なお、こちらは通常のCD仕様(なぜ？)のようだ。

紙ジャケ仕様で帯なども当時のものを再現するということなのでビジュアル的にも楽しめそうだ。ジャックス４０周年、こんな凄いバンドが当時日本にいたという事実だけでも奇跡だが、そのときの輝きが今なお失われていないというのが素晴らしい。まぁ確かにすべての曲を網羅しているわけではないのだが、それは今後のさらなる発掘音源も含めて５０周年記念の時に期待しておこう。少なくとも、あと１０年はこのBOXで楽しめそうだ。

詳細にレビューされている方がいらっしゃるので私は別の切り口から。
このボックスのCDですが、私の持ってる盤よりかなり音が良くなっていてます。
これがSHM-CDの効果なのか、単にリマスタリングが功を奏しているのか、
私にはわかりませんが、既にCDをお持ちの方もこのボックスは”買い”でしょう。

紙ジャケや帯も作りは良いです。うまく再現されてると思います。
ブックレットは薄くて資料価値としてはイマイチですが、まあこんなものでしょう。

ジャックをこれから初めて聴かれる方や、あの名曲たちを高音質で聴きたい！
と思われる方には無条件ですすめられる内容です。
