　スーパー・バター・ドッグの既発のアルバム6枚とボーナスディスク1枚の7枚組。ボーナスディスクは、シングルのカップリングサイドに収録されていたレアトラック集で70分を超える満タンなディスク。すべての音源は竹内朋康の監修のもと、田中一三によるリマスター済みのもの。これで8000円とはお買い得という他はない。
　
　ただし、価格を落とすためにそのほかのパッケージには予算を割いていない。最低限必要な歌詞とクレジットは、ブックレットにしてあるが、このバンドに特有の遊び心は活かされていない。このボックスは集大成をあらわすためのサービス商品だと考えた方がいい。CDはオリジナルアルバムのジャケットを模したレコードスリーブ状の入れ物に、レコード風にビニール袋に入れて収納してある。ただ、これには期待しない方がいい。紙も最低限のクオリティーだし、注意しないとCDの入っているビニール袋がスルスルと落ちる。ブックレットもとてもとても愛蔵版とは言い難い。紙質は悪いし、歌詞の段組にも愛を感じない。だから、バンドの完パケ商品としての魅力は、やはり単体のアルバム商品なのだと思う。CDのレーベルも黒地にアルバム名と収録曲の味気ないデザインである。
　
　しかし、絶対に損はしない。音楽以外のすべてはチープでも、音楽だけはそのチープさを裏切る、コッテコテの日本語ファンクである。こんなにもゆたかなファンクバンドを私は他に知らない。たしかに、輸入もの的な演奏の上手いバンドはほかにもいるが、これほどオリジナリティで日本語をファンクさせたのはこのバンドのほかにはいないだろう。パッケージに裏切られた後で、中身の至福でうるおう。パッケージのチープさに商売を感じるが、詰まっている音楽には採算度外視を感じる。こんなにも愛らしいバカげたファンクを、クソまじめにやっていた、バター犬に感謝。いつかもう一度5人で吠えてくれますように。

Yo!兄弟のシングルバージョンが未収録です。こちらは未聴なのであまり大差ないのかもわからないのですが。サヨナラCOLOR(旧盤)のシークレットトラックも当たり前ですが入っていません。

それを抜いてもお得すぎるBoxです。

７枚で８０００円、１枚１０００円ちょいです。
シングルboxではなくアルバムboxな事に驚きです。
新規で買う人はもちろん買いですが
すでに持っている人もリマスターされてますし
この値段なら買ってもいいかと思われます。
限定ですので買える時にかっておきましょう。
このお得感は同じ時期に椎名林檎でとんでもないお粗末boxを
だすemiと同じとは思えませんねｗｗ
